Well, regardless of why Charles is stepping down, we all can’t deny that he had a legendary run as the plumbers and no one can take that away from him. Now, we can be happy for a new voice actor who got the big breakout role of a lifetime. Let’s a-go, Kevin Afghani!
The only legitimate reason why Charles would be let go is because in most jobs/careers that you work at you're forced to retire around the ages between 65+ even if you are still fit to work. I have no idea if Japan practices these workplace habits or if it's only an American thing. Overall he still should have been givin the proper send off by letting him voice all of the Mario's in the movie and I'd be okay with that and accept it. Something fishy is going on and I don't think I can let it go until Nintendo decides they want to open up about it. Lol they won't.
I say he’s pretty good at doing their voices but I say they could keep him for a few years, let’s just see what there’s to come in the feature of Mario games , he’s definitely going to get a lot of fame
I think maybe Kevin will voice Mario longer than Charles did. Charles started voicing Mario when he was 36 and Kevin started voicing Mario when he was 27, and Kevin has been a huge fan of Super Mario series all his life and getting the role of Mario was definitely his biggest dream
I hope Kevin will be the voice of Mario and Luigi for years, it would be cool if Nintendo had Kevin record new voice Lines for a few games and Nintendo reused old voice clips of Charles Martinet in a few games. I will sure miss Charles Martinet as the voice but im glad he still works for Nintendo as the Ambassador.
Imagine if SwitchForce made a click bait video pretending he is the new voice actor of Mario and Luigi 💀
💀
his luigi's voice is 10/10, his mario voice is a 7.5/10
he'll get better at it the more he does it o3o
@@eeveefennecfox yep, he is doing amazing so far
I give his Mario and 8 to 8.5. He sounds enthusiastic and energetic, though I agree with 10/10 Luigi.

Imagine if Nintendo turned around and replace Charles with Frank Welker.
