Good review I had the opportunity to play Jungle King with the Tarzan yell in Florida back in the early 80s

Thanks for the great review, one of my all time favourite games of all time! 🙂

What intrigued me to it was the fact the cooler version of it was completely and utterly lawyer'd out of mainstream coverage. I won't accept that since it's the perfect Tarzan game and I have yet to be proven otherwise.

@@kyokusagani8869 Absolutely right, it truely is. And justice had been done to this great game at last: We can play it whenever we want now. 🙂

This is really excellent. I'm of the generation who played Jungle King. Great review. Love the line about getting the babe before she boils! 👏

The ratio of jungle kings to jungle hunts was aproximately 3:10. Maybe you can recall which one you saw in the arcades / bars / restaurants back in the day if it was memorable!

The hero is white while the cannibals are black...yeah, that'd be awkward if released nowadays.

Everyone's skin color changes constantly since the colors get randomized after loop 1. The hero's tan on all the official art for the game and not white. I don't think Taito put any thought into the color patterns at all; but if it came out nowadays, more attention would be brought to it.

How many cannibal jungle tribes that are white have there been in history? NONE. Unfortunately millennials and gen z kids have a big problem with REALITY. They need to stop being such cry babies and get over themselves. ;)
