  • 1968 Ford F250 Replacing the DOOR SEAL Weatherstrip - Restoration Part 6. In this episode the classic 1968 Ford F250 original door weatherstripping needs to be removed, metal bead scrubbed and cleaned, and seals replaced. I use 3M yellow weatherstrip adhesive and some elbow grease. This is a 1968 F250 Ranger Camper Special, but the rubber weatherstrip seal and how-to video applies to all 1967 to 1972 Ford trucks.

THE door seal install video I needed for 5 years but couldn't find. Don delivered. No nonsense and not too long. Thanks Don!

I picked them up on eBay for $42.99 (L & R pair) w/free shipping from northeast classic ford parts. Here's the link: www.ebay.com/itm/152620842386

the weatherstrip on my 72 F250 is clip-on. No adhesive. Did they use both kinds back in the day? Also, my kit contains several other stick on strips that look like they mount on the door itself.

Sorry, I don't know on the 72 model year. 68 was glue-on only.
