The Lansdowne is one of the last of the great theaters from the 1920s remaining largely unchanged in the Philadelphia area. This video was produced a couple years ago and explains the past, present and future plans for this grand building. (The marquee shown has been fully restored since this video was produced.) We moved to Lansdowne in 1970 and enjoyed the Lansdowne Theater for many years until its closing! We are so proud of the group who work so very hard to save the Lansdowne and wish them and the theater much success in the future of this endeavor!
