My computer restarted after starting to install windows, but when I select that option from the BIOS it still boots to the same as the beginning?

@@gamingmitvale9984 I remember changing BIOS settings and prioritizing drive with Windows installed on it. But the laptop was shit, a hinge broke and I got my money back :D

So far so good, but at 6:30, when we have to boot, after the installation, it doesn't let me do it.
It always starts in DOS again.
Boot mode select: UEFI (the only option, couldn't choose differently, it was grey.)
And boot option #1 I put the USB drive first.
If I later restart and press F11, it puts me again in the installation mode, where I have to put in the product key, etc.
Do you have an advice for that?

Solution : type "exit" ( Shell > exit) . It will restart, type exit again, and it should be ok

However, it worked earlier for me. Don't know what I did but when it booted, I kept pressing F11 I guess.

Tips for anyone where it is not working... (u download the windows, the boot is already where is should be and it returns u to the code page )
While u restart after installing windows- pull out the usb stick. I tried that several times, at different moments and after the third try it worked.

Quick Update for those who have the shell screen again after pressing f10 (save and reset) in the bios. type ' quit ' or ' exit ' and hit enter and you will be good to go !
Doesn’t work for me when I press Esc it still gets me to the shell screen
At the end in the boot menu i have only 3 options and the Boot mode select is not accesable , and its already to UEFI but it doesn work,only fast boot is changable, on my MSI Katana GF76,pls help

I have also a gf76, I bought it yesterday but didn't manage to install windows. Bios boot interface is a little bit different. Did you manage to install windows?
@@kostisath yup, but i remember i had some kind of problem with making partition and chosing booting drive but doesn't remember to good (instalation from pendrive). Anyway i installed it. I don't know if now is difrent bios or something. Try search on reddit, i found solution there (sory i don't have link)

I think in the partician section there is a mistake that i made the same steps as you and it did not work, then i deleted all partiton and dowloaded on the top one and it worked. But still thanks for the video.

@@pavels.2784 yes, when you choose the Partition for windows, delete all 3 and create a new one. On the first partition is free dos (in the video the guy doesnt delete it), when you delete the free dos, the laptop can only boot to windows. Also you can then use your full capacity of the ssd.
