The only pan flute sample i own is part of 'Ethno World 5' by Best Service. It's not the most sophisticated scripting (in terms of playability) but it has a variety of articulations and prerecorded phrases to choose from.
The amount of control in these is amazing and a massive technical achievement, but the transitions and many note starts still sound *incredibly* off. It's one of those "this way lies madness" things with VIs if you strive for realism - they simply aren't the real things, and attempts to make them close often sound strangely.
agreed, although I'd say a big part of the issue is my own limited capacity to know what things should sound like on a real instrument and execute it in real time - I'm just bashing out ideas here :)
@@vincecomposer Oh, for what it's worth, I think you're incredible and inspiring, especially with instruments like these. I think you're a big reason why people see the Infinite series for its potential.
Vince, could you advice pan flute? The best you know. Hard or soft. Maybe audio medeling?
