I get gel it’s actually the best polish for your nails dip in a close second acrylic is actually the worst. I told my Best friend to quit getting acrylic cause his bad for her nails. I told her to switch to gel because it’s much safer. I only get gel on my fingernails. I get regular polish on my toe nails. I have to go back to the salon today or tomorrow probably today because I have a baby shower coming up for my cousin. She’s pregnant with her first child a girl.

i know you dont do this all the time but kids should not get anything done to their nails until 14-16 years old because her nail beds arent fully developed so it can be very dangerous

I disagree. I think that kids should always be allowed to paint their nails and as long as the kid is not THAT little and you only do it on occasion i think it’s fine to do gels. My 12 year old cousin got gel nails for her birthday so as long as it’s not often gels are fine. And nail polish is ALWAYS ok!

even nail polish can weaken the nail bed and so does gel, doing it on occasion is okay but kids should try to steer clear of it until the age of about 14 or 15

When I was really little I used some water based paint but by the time a child is about 10 they need to be able to express themselves through nails. I understand a no on manicures but painting you own nails?!? When I was about 10-13 I had a big cart of nail polish and I painted my nails every few days. It really is fine and almost everyone does it.
