At lot of these reminds mr of those super cheap mock busters of a popular animated film. I asked my grandma when I was 7ish, and she gave me a sonic tiger hand-held. Seriously, after playing sonic heroes for the first time, the only fun I got out of that hand-held was smashing it howtobasic style
To be fair with the 64 bit world, there's way too many games that did the tank controls...Resident Evil, Alone In the Dark, Tomb Raider...just to name a few
16:27 an obvious move to cash in on style points 20 years early. Then there’s the controller. man is this thing ugly. The buttons are stiff and it’s got so many options that it’s easy to confuse them and press the wrong one. good thing the off button is close by though because that’s clearly the most important one here.
I even had one of these tiger portables when I was 6. The reason why there were so many of these and everybody bought them was because of how dirt cheap they were at the time, the one I had was only $3, now comepare that the Gameboy at the time the retailed for $90 plus whatever game you bought it with and the extra batters you needed. For reference 2 AA batteries gave the Gameboy 20 hours of life, where as the tiger handheld that used lithium coin batteries, because of the crude technology it consumed much less power, and my tiger lasted 3 months before it died on me
