Absolutely love your aquariums, thanks for the advice on how to use certain items one might not think about! Beautiful effect, especially that big one!
Will do! But one clarifying question, are you interested in seeing a custom home build out of structural furnishings or do you mean furnishing one of the existing homes from scratch?
You're very welcome! I can't help but build custom aquariums in my houses. Recently upgraded the one in Hall of the Lunar Champion - you can see it in my latest home tour video.
I would like to see you do anything in ESO housing. I get stuck in a rut thinking you have to have all imperial items in an imperial house and I have trouble thinking outside the box like you do.👍🏻
Ironically I get the occasional comment complaining about how I mix furnishing types or use the wrong type for a particular house. I don't think I'd ever describe my designs as lore-friendly, but it would be an interesting challenge to use only the matching furniture set for the house.
@@Kalam0n Frankly, I don't get people like that. Yes, it's nice and I do it for some of my houses, but it's so much more fun to go directly against the basic idea of a home. The first time I saw the Alpines Gallery I got an terrible itch to scrap all the pines and throw some palms at it. Add in the large yellow welkynd stones (can't remember their proper name) as a reason for the tropic little pocket in spite of occasional snowfall. And of course deck the whole of it out like a summer resort. Haven't done it yet (mostly because I don't have ESO+ and the item limits are pitiful), but would love to see someone just run off with this idea.
I definitely get flashbacks to stacking up squares of cloth in Ultima ONline and then trying to float fish at just the right spot to appear as if they were inside the tank.
The one in the back center? That opens the portal to Moongrave Fane? You need to complete both Lair of Maarselok and Moongrave Fane in Normal. Here's a useful resource on the Hall of the Lunar Champion: en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Hall_of_the_Lunar_Champion
That's not my specialty, but I'd suggest picking out your building block first because that will dictate your scale. For example, if you're using a boulder for shaping, then you'll probably have more options for details like eyes, fins, and so on. But if you're using a smaller rock, or sack, or whatever, you'll have to get a little creative. I was absolutely blown away by Futerko's latest home design though. Not only some kind of Poseiden statue, but also 3 dragons or sea serpents. The only furnishing I recognize is the teeth, each of the dragon sculptures appears to be using a Shark Jaw, Massive. ruclips.net/video/M6IpvKIO5H4/видео.html
How do you keep the blue light from leeching through the scavenged plate? When I place a brazier close to a wall, the light shines through on the other side of the wall, and the same happens when I place the blue light brazier behind the plate.
I think it always shines through - maybe it's just a little bit less obvious with my platform / graphics settings? I have tried a number of different structural pieces but I don't think I've ever found anything that actually fully blocks a light source like that.
@@Kalam0n Thank you for the reply. I too have experimented with other structural pieces without success, and my light actually shines through the floor as well. Excellent creative work, by the way - I wouldn't even have thought of an aquarium if I hadn't seen your video. A nice aquatic furnishing pack and aquatic music box is on special today via the crown store. I'll take a chance I that I won't muck up too badly and buy both.
@@Kalam0n I take that back. A few days ago I was checking out a friend's house and he had full blown aquariums that were moving. I had never seen them before. You have to buy them with crowns.

Thanks you inspired me to build a big one it turned out so good
Incredibly creative! I love the finished look of your aquariums.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for doing these kinds of videos. Just what I've been looking for.
Glad you like them!
This is so creative, I love it. Thank you for sharing your tricks and tips!
Wow! I am going to make an aquarium now! Thank you for this! 👍🏻

Thanks Kal for the info. I would love to see a house build from scratch if you have the time :) xx

reminds me of furnishing houses in UO

This is super cool, thank you for the video. Where did u get the starfish?
You're very welcome! The starfish come from fishing, but I typically just purchase them off guild traders.
THEY ADDED AQUARIUM'S FINALLY, BUT THANK YOU I USED THIS FOR ABOUT A MONTH
Indeed, and they do look pretty sweet! I wish they weren't crown crate exclusive, but better than nothing I suppose.
Just awesome!!!

what motif is that chestpiece?
I think I answered this in another comment, but it's the Akiviri Potentate.
You can get fish in the game. They don't move.
Yeah, and they're kind of low-res. I wish we had FFXIV aquariums.
