Excuse my lack of knowledge..but if compasses were malfunctioning...wouldn't you be able to see where the sun was in the sky and know if you needed to fly in that direction or away from it? Just curious. The pilots were all extremely competent so it's a real mystery I have always been interested in.

They said the flight was commanded to fly west towards the setting sun but the lead guy broke command and flew opposite of the sun because he was convinced they were at a different location. So yes the sun is used a lot in these situations.

The fog and the fact it made them disorientated may have had some effect so they couldnt see or controle the plane

There’s a large cave in South America that has massive quartz crystals in it.
Quarts resonates through sound frequencies and create electromagnetic fields.
There very much could be a large quarts deposit under the Bermuda triangle.
As Vehicle pass over it whether they are flying or boating the the low frequency sound that emanates from their engine will vibrate and stimulate the quartz which is under pressure from the weight of the water on top of it creating electromagnetic fields.
It is most likely why the compasses are spinning all over the place.

Ever heard of magnetite. From Bermuda Island all the way back to Florida there's large magnetite groups. We've had our compass spin like crazy.
I can tell that no one in this video has actually flown in a TBM Avenger.. Even with the canopies closed there's so much air running through the cabins that Carbon monoxide can't be a factor..

Not that I believe it, but there is one more logical explanation for how two compasses could go haywire at the same time, and that's sabotage.
Wasn't the flight leaving earlier than planned because the original Capt. couldn't, they scrambled a new leader and sent out the flight, what purpose would sabotaging the compasses serve except to send them to thier doom? But it is suspicious that the original flight Capt. Suddenly changed and the one who took over tried to bow put because of a bad feeling. The whole thing just has conspirators written all over it. Was there any cargo? Were they really just performing a generic training flight? is it possible they were rigged because it was a training flight? So many questions

We know Captain Taylor was very confused and was unsure of where they were. This is on tape from his own mouth.

They flew in tight formation, yet none of the trainees made reference to experiencing any compass error within their craft, though to have BOTH compasses malfunction on one plane is very hard to comprehend. Nevertheless, Captain Taylor states that to be the case, and we have no reason to doubt him, and absolutely no basis to doubt his clear concern at their predicament.
The very strong logic is that, sadly, they did get lost, ditched, and are highly unlikely to be found.
Not so much tracing a needle in a haystack, more a case of finding a blue grain of sand on the world's biggest beach.

I think that you guys are doing a great job with the investigation that they are doing. I hope that they are safe but I know that you will find something important about what is happening in the Bermuda Triangle ! It might be something similar and you think it's not important?
