I love the exposed Timbers in the ceiling❣️ I would love the ceiling, floors, doors and cabinets to be pine, the counters to be 2” pine slabs with the living edge finished with epoxy, well trimmed out windows, pantry, white farm sink, flip up tops of the first five stair steps for storage, well insulated ceiling, walls and floor for VERY COLD WINTERS AND SNOW LOAD STRENGTH OF THE ROOF WITH GENEROUS EAVES AND GUTTERS. IN the kitchen, no cabs below the counter- only stacks of three drawers. Goose-neck black faucets and drop sink in bathroom for ease of washing hair, for us short ladies, and old style clawfoot tub, where I can lie down to soak. I am 5’. And shower over-head. Solid pine sliding doors with locks for privacy and security within the house, and double thick, out swinging front door with two long dead bolts at center and lower or of door to be bear and theft- proof.
