No further tweakings were made for the Relic Guitar (Icon) Samples which explains why it may come off as harsh in some guitar lines.

Ganda ng life lesson at the end of the video.😍 I totally agree na may sense ang relic or yung mga used but not abused guitars. I would like to share my experience with my electric guitras. I have an IbanezRG350DXZ-WH which I bought brand new way back 2011 and a Hamer Explorer which I also bought brand new way back 2017. Both are great guitars pero nung brand new pa sila nailang ako gamitin sila kasi takot ako magasgasan o mabangasan sila kaya ayun tuloy hindi ako maxiado makapagfocus sa pagpapractice at pagtugtog ko. maxiado ako na"OCD" habang ginagamit sila nung bagong bago pa sila. Pero as both of them aged as I played them through the years mas naging comfortable yung feel nila at mas nakatugtog ako ng maayos. So ayun nagkaidea ako. Bumili ako ng 2nd hand partscaster na telecaster na relic na talaga yung dating kasi hindi pulido yung pagkakabuo nya at gamit na gamit na rin sya nung previous owner. Pero maganda yung tone at resonance nya. Ngayon yung telecaster yung main practice guitar ko. Hindi na ako worried na gamitin sya kasi bangas bangas na sya at sobrang comfortable ng feel nya kaya ganado ako magpractice ng todo kasi hindi ako naiilang gamitin sya. Mas nakapagfocus ako sa pagtugtog ko which in turn greatly improved my technique. Kaya pagnagswitch back ako sa RG at Explorer mas obvious na yung improvement sa skills ko Thanks to my "Relic'd" partscaster Telecaster. ☺

i have one more than 30yrs n... fender bullet,tlgang natural relic n tlaga. i used to play that during the 90's.me banda rin ko noon..pro nag abroad ko kya ntigil ang banda.pro pg nkkita ko ung gitara k pg umuuwi ko ng pinas, it brings back my cool fun memories..during 90;s era
Parang ang sarap sa studio nung bago pero. sa live performances ung twang and ung depth nung relic ang sarap sa tenga sa malalakas na speakers

I work for a local company who specialise on making custom relic guitars (some of u might know what I'm talking about) and yes I do the relicing job and I must say that after a long run I kind of feel like it's justa facade or a mojo look for the guitar. Used to like it but now I'd prefer a clean looking stock guitar. (still relicing some but kind of bummed to make it look natural cos its a really long process)

it's tough over time relicing is always best it depends on the how ageing is done, there is some Vintages that are not bad some I would say don't bother , nice playing that tone was killer the sound of these WIlkinson pups never surprises me,

una ko din napansin yung relic guitars kay john frusciante, nagtataka talaga ako kung luma ba or design lang yung mga gasgas sa strats nya, relic pala yung ganun angas parang maganda nga at handy yung ganyan kasi nasagad na sa gamit at limit parang ang gaan na siguro gamitin
Also got a guitar around 2013, will turn 10 years na ngayon 2023, sa March. I can say na somehow relic na rin tingnan. There was a time na d na setup ng maayos, nag DIY pa ako. but last year, brought it to a guitar tech and have it properly setup, then boom! it plays good or even better nun bago pa. With a proper setup, any guitar will do, plus points nga lang sa relic based on what you've said! As always great content sir Pax! 👌👌👌

nag abang ako na ma feature yung iconic relic strat ni Blaster and relic Precision bass ni Zild 😔, quite sad kasi wala yung iconic signature guitars nila sa video. sana ma add huhu. grabe kasi influence nila, kaya nag relic job mga guitar shops dito kasi nagkaroon ng demand dahil sa first appearance nung relics from them. Also yung Frequency guitars, hindi na feature. Sobrang galing ng relic job nila huhu and its made from Philippines. Sana ma feature sila soon. Awesome video tonight @PAX. solid
For me, I would like to have that relic guitar dahil sa may character yung gitara na yun para lang din siyang gitara na nilalagyan mo ng mga stickers sa body, nagkakaroon ng angas.
I think dahil rin sa bright at open na tunog niya, it make sense since relic ang design niya at mas bagay siya laruin sa distortion setting.

Yung kabanda ko binigay sakin yung ni-relic nilang gitara. Fernandez din yon. Nasobrahan sa pag relic tapos tinadtad pa ng stickers kaya tinamad na daw sya gamitin. Pinasetup ko lang palit pots, palit pickup selector, palit saddle, upgraded bridge pickup installed orange cap ok na ulit gamitin hahaha. Sobrang sarap kase nung feel ng neck tapos vintage tuners na din.

I prefer ageing my guitar naturaly. And every battle scar has its own story. I respect the style of relicing, whatever floats to every guitarist’s boat :)

Having to own 2 vintage strat guitars from the 80s, i could not agree more.
Pero personally, iba pa din ung mga "battle scars" from real use.
like may battle scars na nung nabili ko,ayon nadagdagan na din from usage.

I still prefer my worn out strat kaysa sa masrecent kong tele dahil masfeel ko talaga ang pagtugtog sa strat kong puno ng gasgas... I also refuse to sell it because it was my first electric guitar and never ko itong idispose in any way... I will hang it proudly on my wall when the day comes that it's not playable anymore... I put so much love on that guitar although it was the cheapest when I bought it.

May napanood akong mga video ni Jimi Hindrix at ni Malmsteen na sa dami ng guitar nila. Pero Ang pinaka favorite nilang gamitin yung luma nilang guitar na stratocaster na puro gasgas na. as in Gastado na ang mga pintura sa body at mukhang luma na. Ang daming Battle scar ng mga body. Kasi para sa kanila iba parin yung feeling na nakasanayan mong ginagamit na guitar. At yun ay nalaspag sa kakagamit at hindi nila sinadyang gawing relic. Which mean gamit na gamit lagi nila. Kaya malamang sobrang mahal ng mga gitara na yun pag benenta nila.👍

I own 9 Fender Custom Shop guitars (5 Strats/ 4 Teles). 3 Relics and 6 NOS. There is no difference in tone. I prefer playing the relics. They just feel better in my hands. Its like playing baseball with a well cured gloves or wearing your favorite old worn jeans.
It's absurd to think that paint affects tone hahaha. Prime r/guitarcirclejerk material.

Trivia : Ang pinakasikat na relic guitar ay ang 1961 Fender Stratocaster ng Irish musician na si Rory Gallagher. Halos yung kulay ng strat niya walang wala na na over relic ito dahil yung pawis niya ay acidic na pumunta sa strat na dahilan kaya na-aalis ang kulay.
