I liked how you talk about deconstruction and construction, which you call conversion. It would be nice to be able to just learn without unlearning. But, I guess the learning is the unlearning, in a way. Because we wouldn’t then want to say that now I am this or that; that I am not like that.
Great absolutely , very interesting will watch or listen to later, many thanks . It IS of extreme importance the gulf between conventional psychotherapy and psychoanalysis and spirituality is huge it is all most insurmountable , we know a lot about the ego functioning and so-called healthy ego functioning but we know next to nothing about the higher levels of consciousness or even the supreme states of realization , God --hood , ( turiya or stateless state) . I feel where we are at the moment in a collective sense is we are in a Schrödinger paradigm and yet cannot see it totally for what it is , ie at the very deepest level mind and matter may well be one and the same thing , thus ego functioning like a stepping off point or a base camp , the whole of the western and in fact modern society is based on the illusion that ego functioning is all most everything , and the kind of religious spiritual sentiments and attitudes of the past from about the 17th century and before were all dominated by religious myths , beliefs and archetypes , these periods are considered to be primitive , mainly because they were often presented in a crude or basic form , all this may be misleading as we have thrown the baby out with the bath water . Whilst no one thinking correctly believes there to be a God Object the idea of God must relate to something ultimately transcendent , overarching , fundamental and absolute , yet today there is no fear of God this is a thing of the past and so on , maybe one could say today awe ? Look forward to listening to you're contributions to this huge topic Don.

The interview was really good. I just assume that conscience is the embodied voice of God.
“God is love.“
@@doncarveth Yes, thanks!
The superego is the devil. I think you need a separate show for that. It would be wonderful.
