Thanks bro I’m moving to Florida soon and when I am there I want to be a running back so I’m tryna be a really good one

You can’t just be a running back cuz u want to 😭
I’m a 5’2 8th grader and I have been very frustrated with my ability because of my size but I got my squat to 225 and it’s helped me a ton I had 5 tds last game
focus on your acceleration, reading blocks, pressing the line of scrimmage. Watch your own film, and study off yourself, and study off pros.
I started as a sophmore varsity, I was way to focused on getting bigger and faster, but I was missing the most important thing is vision. Later on in the season I was starting to pick it up, but I still wasnt where I wanted to be.
Don't get me wrong the weightroom is still very important, but having drills that actually apply in game will take your game to the next level.
@ Fr thanks man
Thank you for this I love your running back videos can you post speed workouts and workout exercises that are good for running backs to build crazy strength and speed ?
Will do!! Great suggestion! Some videos that will apply are our Speed Training Playlist which you can check out here 👉 ruclips.net/p/PLuV8B5eKhJBymXVdb6sz9I69tv9VSw2tP
Its gonna be my first year playing TACKLE football but I played tackle football with my friend who made B team for the school for defense and he said I should play RB so I've been gaining interest on the position
15, 130 lbs, 5'4. I'm a small guy, but I really really wanna play football, and I love escaping through the defense, and juking everybody out in running plays. I would love to play wide receiver or running back but unfortunately I don't have the height for wide receiver, so I'm interested in playing rb. Never played football for a team before but I've been training for about a year, and I think I'm ready to play on the team next year.
Same boat. Its my freshman year and I am on JV. You should try
Bulk up. The weight will be your biggest problem. At 130, it'll be hard to ever get past first contact or break tackles.
@@desnatisI’m a freshman who’s also 15 and I’m like 132lbs but I’m really hard to take down and fast asf. Our varsity’s also a 6a (highest in my state) division 1 school that’s undefeated and so is our freshman team so I don’t think weights always much of an issue if ur strong pound for pound and fast/agile
@@gopromaster8169 true enough on the pound for pound point. A guy like Isiah pachecco is hard to bring down even though he's only 195lb. I would still try to get bigger so that you can potentially knock other guys down. Getting bigger will also make you more durable.
@@desnatis but getting bigger would also make u slower or atleast not get as fast as easily, no?

I'm a wr but this helped me alot thank you.
I’m a 6’1 192 8th grader , starting running back .❤️
Jesus I'm only 5'5 111 pounds freshman
damn u tall asf i’m like 5’9 and 165 as a running back
5’4 150 pounds . Starter running back
Your tall got a running back I would put you at reciver or tight end
5’3 195 starting
I'm 5'10 165 I wanna try to put on like 5 pounds of muscle by next summer for football. I've never played before and I'll be a sophomore. My lower body is already strong, but if I put on upper body muscle do u think I could play RB?
Oh yes. I’m only in 7th grade but i’m the #1 RB in my district. You’ll probably grow to 6’0 soon so if you have lower body strength your already fine. But upper body strength really helps if you want to run over people. But your description currently is always good if you choose to switch to WR. Good luck brotha
Try and play safety or db. You already have the frame
Little short but for sure I’m trying to be a better rb incoming freshman 5,10 140
yes definitely, but you also need to be fast and elusive. so also work on footwork
@@HoboJoe42069 not true . I know a 5”7 running back with 10 d1 offers .
I’m 15 140 and 5’8 I have no idea why I was chosen as my team rb when we have a lot more options but I’m it so I want something to use to replace my size
first year on varsity and coach want me to play rb 🐕
Don’t bragg
Congrats bro
How’s it going?
@@riversboutte6548 he obviously worked hard 😂 he got every right to be happy and brag 🤦♂️
I’m a sophomore running back. I’m highschool. I was originally a cross country and track athlete. Not the biggest or strongest athlete. But I got some speed. Thanks to track. Im also not the best at iq plays. Cuz I have some problems with thinking quickly due to some disorders. But I won’t let that stop me from improving. Any tips on how to become more aggressive than passive? That’s one of my biggest problems . Thanks!
don’t be afraid to get your body hurt when your approaching someone
get angry, dont think. Thats my best tips
@@tristanulrichbball that’s how Christian okoye played lol
what i do is think before the game, like imagine the most hype things for a lot of situations and try to do them in game but also be smart about it.
My best response? Play with a reason. If you have a “ why ?” Question as to why you play the game and what keeps you goin you gone pick up that dog trait in you by nature. Might be something traumatic
if your watching this keep pushing
Thanks bro I’m 11 years old and I have been looking for a RUclips video to send for my running backs (I’m a quarterback)
Question how do you stay good for a long time because you're getting hit by some of the world's greatest athletes you see what happened to Todd Gurley
Make sure to stay in great shape listen to your body. Don’t try and think “I’m too strong to listen to this ache”
Todd gurley been had knee problems tho
@@gavinboyes373 thanks I'm a freshman I don't play the right position I'm a 160-lb defensive end and next year I want to play safety running back and possibly tight end I'm in my backyard working right now thanks for the advice

What are preflexes and cocontractions tried looking it up but couldn’t find anything
Im 13 135lbs and 6'1. I have never played organized football (mostly just leisure with my friends) and Im trying to make it onto the high school football team next year. Im extremely fast and does anyone have any tips to handle tough tackles and hits better?
yea, eat more and lift. 6'1 135 at RB could get you hurt. Try to put on enough muscle to where you feel confident taking hits but you dont lose any of you speed or agility
Yea u gotta get in the gym and bulk but have a healthy diet that will put on muscle for u and stuff. I recommend u get ur chest and legs strong. Those legs are SOOO important as long as ur chest
Gain more muscle and idk if rb is best for you but if you like it go for it
Love this video
Glad you found it helpful 💪
Hey I have a question how do I get used to hitting and stop being scared
My coach has me playing wr all game and rb
Brilliant. Thanks!
I’m in middle school this helps a lot
