I had this and other K-Tel albums. One thing I noticed was that songs by the band War were among the oldest songs on these compilations. For example, “Right On” came out almost four years after “The Cisco Kid” was a hit.
Proudly owned this album since back in the day. I'm astonished they actually hired the model to also do this commercial. Probably got paid for a half day's work. WHERE IS SHE NOW?
I noticed that they misspelled her name. Notice at the end when they showed a photo of The Miracles they cut off Billy Griffin's pic on the left side and show the other 3 members. He replaced Smokey Robinson when he left the group.
Elton John: “Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal? Your eyes have died, but you see more than I.” Woman on album cover: (smiles while giving thumbs up) 👍
This ad is for the US version. Yet, the cover is the Canadian version, with KC on the cover (Shake Your Booty is on the Canadian version of the record). And, of course, Diana Ross' name is misspelled here, and on the ad for the next compilation "Pure Power".
Do you know if there is a K Tel Online that features a Devil/Angel. So much History in these Songs. Lou Rawls sang a Song that was later covered by Michael Buble, also The Men who wrote it Kenny Gamble/Leon Huff helped epitomize the Philly Soul Sound that is still very popular in England. Dazz by Brick was the only HIt that they had, Love Machine was the "only" hit that The Miracles had without Smokey Robinson who left in 1972. Lionel Richie was slowly becoming the "Star" of The Commodores with his ability to write Love Ballads, and Heart's Music has been featured in Movies, and Commercials.
Thrifted this record and I've been playing it a lot recently ❤
i love how's she's just casually grooving through the whole thing.
I like the way she took a break from dancing just before Heart was shown.
Wow, that dancer was really workin' up a sweat!!
I used to be in a band with the girl singer on the cover!
Dave Rusan Did she have a story about the filming? Did she get paid?
I always thought she looked like Tanya Tucker!
I finally got a digital copy of this K-tel Compilation, it has just the full length songs, not K-tel edits.
Very nice songs from yesteryear.

Ask the guy who posted that he was in a band with her!
I found this on an 8-track at a thrift store this Saturday. It just needed a little tlc and its sounding as good as new!
_Nadia's Theme_ is heard on CBS' _The Young and the Restless_

The Bolshoi's best only dream they can dance that well.
"At K-tel, Everyone Matters."

YES saw this ad during a timeout in some Saturday afternoon TVS/Raycom college basketball game

The Dancing Lady should've worn a Sleeveless one on stage.
I wish that these k-tel records were on cds!
Also I have the Canadian pressing which doesn’t have Thin Lizzy on it😢
had that album, they redo all the ktel albums on dvd...

I like the big names like ELO and Diana Ross and glossed over in a few seconds.
My dad has this record
Is this where Wendy McLendon-Covey got her character’s look from?
They misspelled Diana Ross ("Dianna")!
They also did that on their "Pure Power" ad.
I know Diana would've been mad as hell. I hate it when people misspell my name.
i hv this! luvvit!
1976?
that heart pic looks like they are junkies and need a fix......
Totally! Was thinkin they had that “I did to much cocaine” the night before the photo shoot look.
Who Was That Girl?
I don't know...but she's gotta be about 65 or older by now...assuming that she was like 24 or 25 in that commercial 40 plus years ago.
Bet she’s still dancing!
I seem to recall having found her on Facebook, and the back of the album indicated whom she was, but... out of sight, out of mind, and all that.
Thumbs if you are here from Scott Bromley! BRRRAAAP!
OK, who's girlfriend was she that she got this job?
They sure couldn't spell at K Tel. I never saw "Dianna" Ross before.
One of the most infamous spelling errors in TV history where they got the name wrong. It supposed to be “Diana Ross”, not “Dianna Ross”.
Did he say Eric Cartman?
Diana Ross misspelled..lol
low budget temp employee from winnepeg
She was fine , but couldn’t dance, guess she didn’t have to lol
