Here is a soundie called "I'm Doing It For Defense" sung by Dorothy Drew. In my opinion, Dorothy gets an A+ for her energy in this soundie musical number from the 1940s. This is from my, somewhat dark, 16mm print transferred in high definition. Soundies were movies in a jukebox-like device which cost 10 cents per play.
