Oh my Goodness! The pigeons!! Years ago we saw 2 adorable baby pigeons on my neighbour's wall every day for about a fortnight, we were all ooo-ing and coo-ing about how cute they were. Then one day in the garden I looked up at the house roof and they were up to the same business. On OUR roof!!

The garden clean up and adding the new plants made the garden pop even more. I have 7 different pair of crocs. I’ve bought them for all my siblings and my spouse. They make your feet feel amazing! I have my old beat up orange ones on now.🤣 Not everyone is team crocs. They get hung up on how they look. If they’d try them on. Your friends would understand. Thanks for sharing. Oh, don’t envy the birds.🤣 All good things in time.😊

It is called Brunera 'Jack Frost' pronounced Brun (sounds like run)-R-A, they are known for their foliage, stunning silvery large leaves, but the blue almost 'forget-me-not' flowers this time of year are gorgeous on them. Loving the vlogs Catherine....I am amazed how much you get done between the house and garden. I am at the moment separating seedlings, I got a very late start this year cos we kept getting frost even into early April here in Cork, so I might not have anything substantial in the garden until July/August, but happy to see not many miles away you are getting it done!
I meant to tell you before when you added that gold design to your backsplash, I think that looks fabulous. Great idea Catherine! And always enjoy seeing you gardening. I just planted my annual raised flower bed this morning. The mice had eaten the tops of my 4 petunias when I had the plants hardening off in the garage, but they still had a great root system, so we shall see. Fingers crossed!!!
Love your garden, it is looking amazing. I am loving gaura plants, they waft so beautifully in the wind. There is whirling butterflies, the bride and pink flamingo - all lovely 😊 Also love hellebores. I have 3 pinks in the front garden that come out in March to May. And foliage is evergreen, then I have a couple white ones called Christmas Carol in the back garden that flowers in the dead of winter - both so so beautiful and just what is needed at that time of the year. The Christmas Carol does almost disappear for the summer but I quite like that as I plant some annuals close to them. Oo and you could add a ceanothus shrub as it has lovely blue flowers that come out at the same time as the brunnera (Jack Frost) 🥰 my mom taught me that you can prune it into any shape, so I have tried a cloud tree shape 😁
Brunnera. i have a bunch of them in my garden in new jersey (just like jersey, but newer, you know ....). Anyway. i love my Brunnera as well. The blue flowers are so sweet in early spring and the plants are so hardy. And they are shade loving - it's so hard to find a shade loving plant that actually has pretty, colorful flowers. They just keep coming back every year. Love them! Love your channel as well. I just found it and i've been binging your gardening videos. please keep them coming. I am enjoying your gardening evolution.
