I finally have an answer to this question. As I learned after trying to upload my cover of Satsuki Kiryuin's theme, certain copyright holders will not just prevent monetization on your video (this has happened to some of my other uploads) but they will outright block it from being publicly shared. I suspect that this happens to a lot of Kill la Kill music.
@@rinmakesmusic that's the thing. It doesn't happen with a lot of kill la kill music. Some songs have been uploaded years upon years. But nonons theme keeps getting re-uploaded and nuked over and over. It can't last more than a week or two online. Yet the rest of kill la kill OST remains online unfettered. It's just that one song that gets nuked.

The internet just keeps erasing the jaunty fascist music over and over. You can listen to the openings and endings, even with animation. You can upload the entire soundtrack and it stays up. But no nonon allowed because fascism = bad.
