In former videos, we have studied some different ways of doing foamed channels by using 'blind stitches/inside hidden stitches'.
This video shows an application of this learning to furniture and automotive upholstery.
Furthermore, these stitches are very strong because the sewing was done twice, one on top and the other on the reverse side, attaching the vinyl top layer to the manta/muslin fabric lower layer, having the foam as a filling in the central part between them.
In next video, we will show more figures that can be done by using this method.
I hope you find it useful!

At first I was like, what this guy doesn't talk? But I get it now! I watch every stitch like I was sitting next to my mom, so much knowledge you share, with us watching! Thank you
Nice work! Thanks for posting! I always wondered how the diamond patterns were done. I’m sure there are more ways to do this however this one is straight forward and easer to understand. Very good camera person you have, they know exactly when to zoom in and show exactly what where to concentrate!
If RUclips gives “The best teacher award “ it goes to you!! Thank you
I love all these videos, they've taught me so much, I work in an industrial setting sewing heavy duty high temperature blankets for generators and engines, but your videos on setting up timing on the pfaff and singer machines has helped me more times than i can count. I want to reupholster my front seat in my car and replace some torn vinyl, and your videos help give me confidence, thanks so much, definitely a master!
There are some people only dedicated to disqualify the work of someone without providing a minimum. I think the right thing would be to give an opinion about what seems wrong or demonstrate with facts instead of 'clicking' in a nonsense way.
I want to note all of these videos are free and aimed to people really interested in learning something about upholstery.

Up until now I was wondering how this is done. But now I know how this blind stitches are made. Wow. Good informative video. Thanks for sharing..
As the stitches are 'hidden' beneath, the job is more durable.

You are master of the world. You make symphony on fingers. One hour in hypnotize...
I really appreciate your kind comment!
Best part for me is at 22:18 where the lines for the secondary (sideways) stitches are laid out; now I understand how this works. Extremely difficult to find an upholsterer with this kind of talent or even knows what a blind stitch is. I've seen some very high-end show cars with really disappointing interiors, stitching on pleats staring you right in the face because the client or the upholsterer was ignorant of the proper method or didn't think the end result was worth the extra effort. Many upholsterer's (even high-priced talent) stop with top-stitching, unless that's actually the look you're going for that's a job only half-way done.
I really appreciate your kind remarks!
In fact, 'blind stitches' on car seats are synonym of 'elegance', besides the foamed channels are more durable than top stitching channels. I think it is only a point of view, but I think so.
A true MASTER. 👍🏼
perfection, very good quality video thank you
+Bungo Man Thanks for kind remarks!
nice work Cecha...you,re an artist.
Thanks for watching the videos!
EXCELENTE TRABAJO AMIGO FELICITACIONES SALUDOS DESDE PERU
looks good. A tip for inexperienced sewers. Check your bobbin thread occasionally. If you run out half way through a seam it is a problem, especially with vinyl.
Very good. Very nice.
Thank you very much.

you make this look so easy, but I know better. my wife and I have been working on our boat seats, I wish you could do them. thank you.

awesome video, thank-you. As a beginner it will be some time before I reach a level to try this out but I did learn a great deal about how it was done. You are a true master and teacher for sharing your craft!
You could create different figures (squares, rectangles, polygons, etc.) following this method. It could be applied for old cars and furniture (office and home).
