- Since a lot of people avoided the Odyssey series due to spoilers, I thought it would be a smart idea to wait two weeks or so after the game came out and release a supercut of all eight episodes!
I know that this can come across as lazy to some, but this was the longest series on this channel yet and I have TONS of quality content on the way! I hope you guys enjoyed this series. :D

Bowser is canonically a wizard, so I've always assumed he uses magic to make himself bigger... in both Sunshine and Odyssey, he's huge when you fight him, but then shrinks for the cutscene immediately afterward.

I like to rewatch this on occasion and always forget about the ending. It’s just a normal video end and then you’re hit with all the feels from the music box. I love it.

Alright so I'm currently really sick and decided to binge some Alpharad for the weekend. Naturally I picked the longest video I could find and watched for about 40 minutes before falling asleep. Since I've been a pretty big Star Fox Fan my brain generated a dream that somewhere on the edge of new donk city there was a mini game where you could take over a vehicle that greatly reassembled an Arwing. In this mini game you had to fly around and take down 3 Star Wolf members while going through the checkpoints as fast as possible. I remember that after they're taken down and you won you can jump on their heads endlessly at their crash sites which was pretty funny. God I love my imagination 😂
When he beat the game, I felt the same sense of happiness as he did, as I did when I beat it. You made me remember why I love this game. Thank you

I come back around once every month when I need some good content that I can just rewatch
I have long thought that the Switch has laid out the most definitive versions of a lot of series on this console. Everything from BOTW to Smash ultimate, the Mario Party that just released, Metroid Dread, they all just hit that point for me where I can say "Yep, this is the peak, I love these games and I doubt anything will top them." And this game, Mario Odyssey is UNQUESTIONABLY the Mario franchise's equivalent. I can't even keep up with the insane level of love and care that went into this game, every time I boot it up I find some brand new thing about it that just makes me gush to hell and back.

The sheer happiness that manifests within this longer than an hour video is a testament to how perfect Odyssey is as a game.
It’s the Mario game I dreamt of when I was little.
Dozens of cool costumes as use for the coins, Banjo-Kazooie style stay-in-the-level gameplay, a broad mixture of difficulty for the Moons, inventive, varied and entirely original gameplay, endless creativity in the brand new creatures and environments, Sunshine-secret-level style special levels, fan-service nostalgic nods to 2-D in a fun way...
There’s nothing this game doesn’t execute perfectly. You don’t need 999 Moons to appreciate the game and if you do, that’s your issue and has no affect on the quality of the product. Just finishing it should be enough to show how it is the highest peak 3-D Mario has reached so far, easily. I used to be a Sunshine purist. Then I played this magnificent game. Enough said.

Interesting fact nobody asked for: when he goes into the moon cavern, it makes sense that the gravity would be normal, cause gravity gets stronger as you get closer to the core

Sure, there's less distance between you and the center of mass of the Moon, but there's also less mass "below" you. Gravity isn't infinite at the center of something like the Earth or Moon. It would ultimately depend on the density of whatever body you're on/inside of. It might be that the math works out to let gravity be that strong, but I don't really feel like doing that math right now. If someone could do that, that would be great; I am interested in what the gravity would actually be. The crust of the Moon is estimated to be 30-45 km thick, by the way; given how we see magma in the lunar cave, Mario's either in a pocket where magma's pushed itself up, or under the crust
@@ghetis396 read something about it some time about gravity in a physic book, can't remember exactly but I think the there would not be any "gravity" if you were exactly in the center of the moon/earth/any object. The center of gravity, I mean. Think I must read that again, so remember me in some weeks because I am currently very into my studies.

I watched this super cut when it first came out and then bought Odyssey okie in 2021 and my god I missed out on so much, and Jacob’s editing was so well done, I legit thought so many areas of the game he edited with music were legit in the game, mostly the faded Jump Up superstar in the New Donk City painting

A look in the past for the switch. This console is now over 4 years old or maybe even 5 years I just forgot the exact date. I think I got this day 1 of when I got the switch. From beginning to end, what a thrilling game this is, with a video like this to show it off in its true glory. Can't wait for the next console to come out with more Mario soon.
This actually made me cry at the end...I didn't want it to end just watching it was spectacular and Jump Up, Superstar...Beautiful...This was a nice adventure and I loved it to bits...
