Wow, giving exercises to help with each position is great. 1. Touch your toes (with straight spine or rounded). Exercises to help: do the exercise itself (go as deep as possible); single leg deadlift (touch the ground with both hands); inchworms. 2. Deep squat and overhead reach. Exercises to help: do the exercise itself, by holding yourself on to an object; downward dog with bent knees; lay on your front and raise shoulders (belly lifted off the ground, thumbs up). 3. Reverse plan bridge (hands facing backward or sidewards, or forwards). Exercises to help: glute bridge; shoulder extension.

CaliMove's mobility program is the best thing ever!! I bought it a couple of weeks ago and my mobility has already improved loads. I highly recommend trying it out.
Alex, you sir, are truly one of a kind. I’ve seen many great teachers over my many years of life, but your level of knowledge and execution is unmatched. Liked and subscribed. Mahalo🙏
Good video and LOVE the exercise area you filmed it in! These are reasonable cost and should be far more common than they currently are (in the US) Thanks for your work! 🙂
Only subscribed today, your stuff is superb and at 46 with a knee replacement and serious shoulder injury(s), I can see that I will still be able to get to a good level of strength and mobility if I work hard which i will. Thank you! PS - My missus bought me a pair of blue shorts today cuz they were cheap, no shit. It's a sign!
i bought it and think it is a good program especially on basic routines. my mobility is really improving. however, on advanced moves such as split v-sit press-handstand, is on par. coz it is not very detailed. summary if you want all around mobility. this is the one. but if you want advanced moves. maybe here or maybe not
You just have to have time to watch it. So it's basically for young people without jobs or families, or single people who avoid relationships and too many activities
Thank you very much for the great videos please we need more that’s the best of the best I thought I was strong but after this exercise I’m the weakest person in the world:)
Calisthenicmovement, I have a request for you, could you please make a video to categorize in 3, 4 or 5 levels the progress of a calisthenic athlete? How would you do it, for example, basic (pushups, body rows, squats), intermediate (l-sit, skin-the-cat, bar pullovers), advanced (muscle-up, handstands, .etc), master (planche, one-arm-chin-up,...). I am curious what level I could be in, and I am sure many people will appreciate your perspective.
Does the program contain daily routine which changes on daily basis or its a set of exercises which have to be repeated daily? Is the program worth the cost? Whats the duration of the program?
The program has a set of exercises to follow, not random stuff daily. Also at first the frequency might feel low and easy but quickly progress is shown without much burden! Also for me it has been worth it. I’m on level 3 I can touch my toes now whenever I want [even after I wake up] and before the program I couldn’t. My shoulder mobility has also seen a major improvement. Honestly it has been worth it and has actually allowed me to stay consistent with my mobility training instead of becoming lazy and not doing it
great videos and nicely executed techniques , these are very basic movements, but they are difficult for many people because most of us live a very sedentary lifestyle but for those who have the interest and motivation they can do them in very reasonable amount of time
06:31 the tips of the fingers are pointing away from your head; 06:34 the tips of the fingers are pointing towards the toes. Which is the right position?
Am glad i have been doing most of these exercises as pre and post workouts in the gym, hence i am flexible enough, thank you for all your videos and learning some new exercises too. 🙏👍👏
You are very knowledgable on the subject of strength, endurance and skill training. You have in prior presentations emphasized how important it is to keep the muscles under tension for an optimum length of time. Another youtuber the Jump Rope Guys use a weighted rope to provide this tension. What are your thoughts on jump roping with weighted resistance? Can it help or hurt? With your guys’ skills you probably could jump rope in a hand stand.

The hamstring tendon that attaches to my pelvis is tense because going through bootcamp put me through running in steel-toed boots and I just kept running 5K’s after that. I only choose early morning runs, waking up at 0510, so I can run a bit.
You can master push ups with these 2 variations alone: 1. Practice lying on your stomach and pushing yourself to the top 2: Practice holding the top position for as long as you can
I learned them in Abit more than 1 week by just doing 5 sets of 5 with my hands on a stairway. Everytime 5x5 felt good, I just put my hands down a step next time. After wards I did 5 Sets of negatives; Just get into the top position and then lower as slow as possible. I could do my first after half a week and 5x5 after ~10 days.

For almost every exercise you have to rely on your wrists. It's almost impossible to do anything without strong and healthy wrists. I really like almost all of those exercises, however, I have such a poor wrist strength it's just ridiculous. To be more precise, the strength of wrist ligaments and tendons. For couple of years I tried so many exercises and stretches with no positive results. It's like they are made from silk hah. I recently bought those things(bars) for push-ups, that may help a bit. And yeah, I'm 180cm high and I have 78kg, so it's not caused by overweight. But nevermind me, you are still the best channel for bodyweight exercises , I should say, the channel that I trust. :) Cheers
Hi Alex, as always very informative video, simple and right on point. I'm curious, with all the body awareness you have, is there any added benefit to these water type shoes? Or is it just a personal preference? ;)
I never feel tension in my back/hamstrings when trying to touch my toes, only discomfort in my knees, and as far as i know they are absolutely healthy. Is that normal?
