The duo is probably better to do in one sitting or at least close to each other to really appreciate how the same words can be so much different. I don't really like either of them as much as Popular monster but they are all so different that it's hard to compare them.

I've yet to add comments on videos on youtube before, but you captured much of what I think of this song. The absolute visceral reaction to the lyrics, music, and display. PTSD/Rage is a complete bitch, and you knew it instinctively. Ronnie did an AMAZING job in capturing what it feels like in this song. Other reaction videos are about his voice, the musicality, etc etc. I acknowledge all those myself too (I'm a musician), but was really really really waiting on just ANYONE to see what was actually going on in this song. The first time I saw it, the moment the little girl touched him literally brought me to tears. Masterful
Best of 2020? Such a bold statement! :D but I don't blame you, I was obsessed with this song a couple of months ago when I heard it for the first time. But you surprise me, I thought you're more of a rap guy? I like the genre blending. You never know what to expect with Ronnie. In this one I just love the gradation, how with every beat drop it gets more intense. And the vocals! And how it seamlessly goes from rap to rock and then to metal... although I'm still not keen on the metal part. But it grew on me. And it's got a story (you know how I love stories). And the sound went really nicely with the visuals (I love the part where the body drops in sync with the beat drop :D). Sigh, are we going down the Falling in reverse rabbit hole? If you're going forward with the trilogy like others recommended then the only thing you probably need to know about Ronnie is that he was a drug addict, went to a prison, his previous band that he created replaced him and when he got out he started from the scratch. He's actually quite a nice guy
FINALLY! here it is! 😜 Yes! Best song of 2020, for me. For once I was able to appreciate a mans lyrics on first listen without having to explain too much. The lyrics were powerful, extremely powerful ( I can touch on them in the next video). You know I used to make music so the instrumental twisted my musical brain sideways 😂 The track was so layered, transitioning between like you say different genres. I only used to ever flip genres at most twice in a song, so for me to hear the creativity and skill that went into making this was extremely immense. I have a slight ocd with beats, if there’s one thing I don’t like in a beat it switches me off, does that make sense? I’m sure it’s a thing Ronnie probably has too, chasing perfection and finesse in his music. It was incredible. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve re-listened to this 💖💖💖

I've yet to add comments on videos on youtube before, but you captured much of what I think of this song. The absolute visceral reaction to the lyrics, music, and display. PTSD/Rage is a complete bitch, and you knew it instinctively. Ronnie did an AMAZING job in capturing what it feels like in this song. Other reaction videos are about his voice, the musicality, etc etc. I acknowledge all those myself too (I'm a musician), but was really really really waiting on just ANYONE to see what was actually going on in this song. The first time I saw it, the moment the little girl touched him literally brought me to tears. Masterful

Best of 2020? Such a bold statement! :D but I don't blame you, I was obsessed with this song a couple of months ago when I heard it for the first time. But you surprise me, I thought you're more of a rap guy?
I like the genre blending. You never know what to expect with Ronnie. In this one I just love the gradation, how with every beat drop it gets more intense. And the vocals! And how it seamlessly goes from rap to rock and then to metal... although I'm still not keen on the metal part. But it grew on me. And it's got a story (you know how I love stories). And the sound went really nicely with the visuals (I love the part where the body drops in sync with the beat drop :D). Sigh, are we going down the Falling in reverse rabbit hole?
If you're going forward with the trilogy like others recommended then the only thing you probably need to know about Ronnie is that he was a drug addict, went to a prison, his previous band that he created replaced him and when he got out he started from the scratch. He's actually quite a nice guy

Yes! Best song of 2020, for me. For once I was able to appreciate a mans lyrics on first listen without having to explain too much. The lyrics were powerful, extremely powerful ( I can touch on them in the next video).
You know I used to make music so the instrumental twisted my musical brain sideways 😂 The track was so layered, transitioning between like you say different genres. I only used to ever flip genres at most twice in a song, so for me to hear the creativity and skill that went into making this was extremely immense. I have a slight ocd with beats, if there’s one thing I don’t like in a beat it switches me off, does that make sense? I’m sure it’s a thing Ronnie probably has too, chasing perfection and finesse in his music. It was incredible. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve re-listened to this 💖💖💖
