You can tell Gavin is mega stressed when he's that quiet.
Yet he started by choosing to bring a minivan and go in a bog-standard van instead of the souped-up vehicles of the other guys. I think he's making himself more nervous than he needs to be for content's sake, even though ideally I'd like to see them succeed. This Heist is frustratingly hard.
Edit: I know they got in Deluxos so it didn't matter, but still. It's prolly me but I tend not to take/steal shitty vehicles in a Heist.

For as long as I can remember mission based AH GTA Let's Plays, every damn time I have been absolutely befuddled by Ryans inability to read the text at the bottom of the screen that says what your current objective is as he sits there asking "Have I hacked it?"
They have said that that they don’t always see everything on the screen. They’re focusing on what they’re doing compared to the objective I think.
Nick Name yeah, they’ve said how hard it is to focus on entertainment and everything in the game. I imagine here it’s worse because so much focus is going into not dying as well
Ryan, Geoff and especially Gavin are the biggest offenders by far. Ryan just forgets things quickly. Geoff has like no peripheral vision. Gavin is just plain oblivious, and easily flustered.
Of course, all of them have their moments of missing important information, but those 3 are definitely the top.
When they were doing that space game and it says to splash your friends to bring them back in big text letters for an extended period of time and all 4 of them were staring at the same screen and nobody noticed it

I am honestly surprised, happy, and strangely proud (makes no sense, I know) at just how well they went through the area. Especially at 26:50 when they had a synchronized take down and it was executed perfectly.

I’m still attempting regular doomsday, let alone crimmy. It’s mostly been thumbless randoms and people leaving right before we finish
Cameron Domes I got lucky and was able to finish them after switching from Xbox to PS. Haven’t been able to refinish the original heists though. It’s just no reward to it anymore imo
It sucks dude and as someone who does the casino heist a lot doomsday is worse and I barely ever play it. Just if you are doing it with randoms do it with a mic for any heist really for randoms. I did the Big Con last week with a friend since they wanted my help since it was their first time as he asked if we should get some other people and I said do what you want I have done this heist before and know how to get it done with easy after failing many times with mines. It was hell doing it with randoms who couldn't just wait for me just for 5 seconds so I can take out the guards without using guns rather than shoot them like some ass. After so many fails and failed party invites and chats we just did it with the two of use and only failed like 3 times and got it done in 20 mins than a hour of trying and failing with randoms.
Nick Name yeah I’ve been looking at the old ones and the payout is just not worth it. I could slog through all of them and get like 1.5 million, or I could do the casino twice.
The game has changed so much since they came out, the rewards aren’t worth, and it’s more fun watching these guys play them than struggling with randoms who don’t understand that cover good, bullets bad.
Cobra3111 doomsday kinda crosses the line between “fun challenge” and “unfair and annoying”. The enemies have to be at least 40% lead before they finally die and sometimes you get shot then before you have time to blink you’re dead.
The casino is so much better because it rewards patience and strategy, something the player base lacks.
I did the aggro approach a couple days ago with randoms, everything went reasonably well, then we had to escape. Went for the classic hide in the sewers strat, all we had to do was sit still for 90 seconds. Apparently that was impossible for one guy because he couldn’t help but fire his gun or throw a grenade or otherwise get seen. It took 5 times before he could finally sit still long enough to stop fucking us. Then he had the gall to send me a message saying “hurry up, just go”.
I’m still a little bitter
When the helicopter lands you can hear the sound of glass breaking, which is presumably one of the helipad lights. That's what tipped off the guard.
I have anxiety before even watching this. I feel it resonating off of them. Bum Cheese.

Are they ever gonna learn you can take out most helicopters in the game with a couple well aimed shots to the tail rotor? Takes two seconds to drop a chopper (if even that)! Fun video by the way!

I know they’re not gonna see this till way later but still. If you want a solo public server, go into network settings in the settings menu then test your NAT type it will kick everyone’s it of the server and you will be left alone in the public server

To be fair to the game, Gavin did biff the landing causing Ryan to hop the helo which got him spotted so the game blaming Gavin is not wrong.

Somehow the fact that they count basic AK that was in the game since the release a "better" weapon makes me sad. They are commited to the "crimmies" enough, I think, to actually use heist armor and Mark 2 weapons (LMG/AK). I mean, sure, there is a content part but killing with better weapons and being more protected is simply easier.

That cracked me up!
You can shoot the boat Enemies, but it’s risky, as you can damage the boat. It’s a risky tactic as well, but you can full send ram the boats and force them to shoot the underside of the car.
Another way I’ve learned, is you can team up for the boats, passengers shooting side arms to kill the gunners.
The beige minivan ride after each setup/heist needs to be a tradition.
I hope they figure out that on the ACT 2 they are able to not use the avenger and the helicopters wont follow them so they can wait on seadoos to pick up the submarine team

you can infact use your outfits that provide extra armour. just when starting mission where you set it to hard, change it to player owned clothes and actually wear it...
I love that Ryan is the PC masterrace guy but couldn't solve the easy hacking puzzle haha

Some tips:
- ALWAYS be in cover unless moving up. Enemy AI shreds armour off so quickly if you're not
- there's no friendly fire so stick together
- don't use silenced weapons. You're sacrificing damage and range for no reason
- don't bother aiming in with the left trigger at close range- its super clunky. Just hold right and you can free aim a lot easier. Auto shotguns are awesome with this technique

The final heist during last bit there is a room full of never ending, super resistant enemies and 4 terminals to hack. They will not beat it

Also one bad thing about this is. Completing criminal masterminds for the doomsday heist, you don’t early a lot money, compared to the original gta online criminal masterminds heist, after completing all the heists, you get ten million. Which the doomsday heist only has two million I think for completing masterminds

The heavy armour makes no difference in the doomsday heists, not sure about the bulletproof helmets though
The heist armour outfit was for the Pacific standard it means nothing in doomsday.

Ryans came along way from wanting to kill everyone during the destiny raid, to patiently waiting while jeremy looks up a guide.
