- Detailed step by step application video of how to operate an HYDRO RT aircraft axle-jack. RT axle-jacks allow wheel and brake changes on aircraft. They have a wide range from 45 to 150 metric tons, have a compact and robust design and are suitable for the most common narrow-body and wide-body aircraft types. RT axle-jacks deliver optimum performance for professional use.
Hi, we have this Jack at work but the manual pumping action only takes a very small load and then seems to blow off through a pressure release, only allowing us to use it with a pneumatic line. Is this correct?
For info we typically use this Jack on a Boeing 737.
Cheers,
Glen.
I have the same problem as you guys
A320....A319
Did you guys get any reply or answers to this issue? having the same for a 320...
Hi @@joseredrodriguez unfortunately not! We still have this jack and can’t jack up an aircraft without a pneumatic line attached. Obviously it’s ok if you’re changing a main wheel as you can use the pressure from the tyre but if you’re jacking for to change a brake or just spin a wheel we need to bring our nitrogen rig over as well and use that to operate the jack. Bit of a pain.
How the hell does that lift a whole aircraft
Not only narrow-body, but also wide-body aircraft, including the Airbus A380.
