  • Welcome to part four of my Edwardian Spring Summer Look Book as I plan to revamp my history bounding wardrobe. I’m going to show you how I create one of my Sylvia Seaside Bolero Jackets and at the end in the ‘reveal’ you can see how I put the outfit together with a matching skirt, the blouse I made in my last video and the accessories for the perfect day beside the sea.
    I hope it will inspire you whether you sew your own clothes, are looking for pointers on how to create and style a historybounding wardrobe or are potential customers of Blue Lady Couture.
    You’ll probably hear me mention things like the ‘Beatrix’ or the ‘Sylvia’ or the ‘Mary’. These are the names of different styles available in my Etsy store. I will cover these in a bit more detail as I proceed through the series, but you can visit my shop link here:

    It turned out so lovely! I love the sailor collar & the way the buttons follow the edge of the bolero. The blue ribbon is perfect & matches the color of the water.

    I think it looks lovely. The trim really is beautiful and the buttons looked great too. All in all, I would say it's a prefect seaside outfit.

    Lovely Jacket. Especially the collar. Very nice. Makes me think of Anne Shirley on vacation from teaching on PEI. 😀

    Those girls, those girls, those lovely seaside girls,
    All dimples, smiles, and curls, your head it simply whirls!
    They look all right, complexions pink and white;
    They've diamond rings and dainty feet,
    Golden hair from Regent Street,
    Lace and grace and lots of face, those pretty little seaside girls.

    Good video, although I'd prefer it without the music. I'd also like you to shoot more of the process. Instead of just telling us what you did, I'd rather you actually show us how you did it. Other than that, it was a good video.

      Thanks for watching! The videos aren't designed to be a tutorial, but I'll bear in mind your comments for future projects.
