  • In this Adventure Vlog, we return to the Jane Austen Festival in the beautiful, historic, Georgian city of Bath, England - appropriately attired in our Regency costume of course. We join hundreds of other fans from all over the world to celebrate the legacy of this much loved author whose work still captivates us more than 200 years later. I take you along to some more festival events including the incredible torchlit soiree in the Roman Baths, costume talks and book signings, as well as exploring more of Bath's history. At the end, join me for a shopping haul of all my Regency purchases.
This is part two because I took so much footage over the course of this week long festival I couldn't possibly fit it all into one video!
Some of the costumes featured are available to order in my Etsy store:

Really enjoyed your very interesting visit to the Jane Austen Festival. The Roman Baths were simply awesome and the costume talks of interest as I have been thinking about buying the book about Jane Austen and fashion. It looks beautiful and was great to meet the author, you must be thrilled to have a signed copy! Thank you for sharing.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! There are so many different events on as part of the festival, it's hard to choose what to go to. I would have liked to have done more dancing. Maybe next time!

Thank you for taking us along on your visit to the Jane Austen Festival! It's nice to see all the different events & places to visit. Hoping to make it there one day especially for Jane Austen's 250th birthday & the re-opening of the fashion museum.

Thank you! This is such a tiny fraction of the events! There are lots of balls and dances, but they sell out really quickly. I hope I can make it to some of the 250th celebrations too.

Seeing Bath again took me back to the wonderful summer I spent in Bristol, back in 1979, with frequent visits to Bath and many other places in England. And now that I got into historical sewing this video is doubly interesting.
