- I finally made it to Allegheny National Forest to ride the Marienville Trails in PA! We had two KTM 2 strokes (2020 KTM 250 XC-W & 2016 KTM 300 XC) and two Husqvarna 4 strokes (2019 FX 350). The dirt bike trail is a 24 mile loop that's mainly flowy and fun with a few rock garden hill climbs. Loved this place and hoping to make it back before the end of the season.

First time i ever rode the rock hill was in a downpour on a YZ450. That was brutal, but now that i got a TE250 its pretty darn easy

Great video ! Man I would love to try out one of those new bikes ! I just do the best I can with my 78 Bultaco Frontera, and I'm 64 years young. I only made it once there this year and road with good riders on newer bikes. I didn't even do the 24 mile loop this time, I remembered the last time, by myself and just wasn't up to it that day. Then Rocky Gap the next day . I had a couple minor injuries riding in my own single track trails so I had a floating rip and a knee slowing me down. I just got back in the dirt 4 years ago after the resurrection of my Frontera. I was doing track days for 20 years at Nelson Ledges mostly, but also Pit Race and once at Mid Ohio. But it's a hell of a lot cheaper to put gas in my Bul and just ride. And if I crash, I'm not doing 90 -100 mph ! (broken femur) It is defiantly a good work out for me, especially with 1978 suspension, a clutch not up to par as the new bikes ( been practicing using the clutch on the hills) and trying to kick start my Bul in the rock garden is just more energy wasted. I am thoroughly enjoying your video, so I'm going to get back to it !
Thank you again. Glad you're enjoying the videos. You should check out local demo days to try out a newer bike and see if it's worth investing for you. All the major dealers have them throughout the late summer/early fall.
I've been having a hard time with mixed and limited info from USDA Forest Service website and DCNR website regarding the legality of dirt bikes/enduro bikes which are not plated/dual sport. Everything on their websites that I've seen comments on ATV's, dirt bikes are mentioned but stops there. Hard to find places to ride with my son here in Pittsburgh.
I assume there is no issue since i see yellow passes on your bars?

These are off-road vehicle trails that require a recreation pass (day and annual passes are available).
I've ridden there, used 2 b mx track by Rays Hotspot!!!

Appreciate the sub! There are a ton of great places in PA, OH and WV. Check out Famous Reading Outdoors. I think that's pretty close to Harrisburg.
I rode that rock wall on a 2013 yz250 and it can be a bitch but at times and at time I can walk up it in places the 4 strokes cant it just depends on how wet it is but either way you will feel it once you get to the top
