- Last year I decided to get myself an old van to convert it into my own tiny home on wheels ready to live off-grid. I have no experience in DIY projects, but I have a big passion for traveling and building stuff, and a van seemed like the perfect combination of both. Thanks! There's a water inlet just next to the sliding door, and I have capacity for 200L or 53 gallons under the countertop, so definitely enough for a few days!

Excellent build, great innovation, just a point on overall safety:- Since the shower is right next to electrical cabinet/batteries, please do exercise great amount of caution in eliminating any leakages and seepage through. You did mention the doors will be waterproofed , maybe you could seal proof the electrical area also for double caution, just a suggestion. Miles to go. Cheers.

DIY is good, but its best to not DIY stuff that you are not comfortable with. Electrics is definitely among those things you should not DIY unless you have the skills. Besides setting things on fire, you can easily create a mistake that can cost you your life. Smart move!
Also, painting the entire van, smart move again, let a professional do it. A good paint job can save you so much trouble. The sun can absolutely destroy a bad paint job, not to mention the rain.
