i need to try putting emission on the dust, I always played with translucency and it looked dull. but a tip for you, there is a setting in the particles to display emitter during render and during viewport, uncheck that and you don't need to give the cube a transparent material.
I couldn't make the cube transparent the way the video says, so instead of connecting the Transparent BSDF to the Surface, I set it to Volume and that's it.
I had actually really needed this because there is going to be a room in my animation that hadn't been touched in a hundred years

Why wouldnt you just use the "show emitter" button to make the cube invisible?
