Fox players forget that most of their options are negative on shield... they spam them all the time because most characters can't always punish, but bowser can and game and watch can probably do so too. I guess the habit of using unsafe moves is so strong that they don't know what else to do even though back air and nair are positive on shield if spaced correctly

Up B and command grab is very difficult to deal with and basically any hit can kill over 70% because of Fox’s light weight. It’s actually not an easy matchup.
Its pretty hard, Light tried to parry down air specially in the last match (just notice how Fox drops shield) but Bowser hitboxes are big, he'd just space it and still be safe. Also LeoN does not abuse downB...
I highly doubt Leon, a pro, is going to down B or down Air against another pro when he’s at kill percentage. Rely on shield too much against bowser and you’ll just get Side B’d.
Ethan Murray if you know about Bowser’s movements/attacks, you can pick up on all the little things Leon does to take this character to the next level. He does a lot of cool stuff that I don’t see in other Bowsers. His fast fall aerials are always on point, and his out of shield options (albeit, mostly up-b this match) connect a lot
Ethan Dowler I mean you're totally right. He's definitely one of the best bowser players out there and has clearly spent a lot of time optimizing the character but it's just not really fun to watch him for me. It honestly might just be Bowser that I find boring to watch
The nice thing about Light is how sportsmanlike he is. He accepts all losses by either shaking the winner's hand or hugging them. He is one of my favorite pro players and this definitely factors in as to why.
@@Supplychainpapi low tier City definitely had a bigger budget. But ltc7 was a major. Defend the North is a regional tournament and is way smaller. But the production value isn't really bad.
