Sorry current Journey and Arnel, let me be the first to tell ya, this is the REAL version of Journey, NOBODY could replace this man. Steve Augeri and Arnel did good but the real Steve Perry is SUPER HUMAN a singer and performer. I have seen all 3 multiple times so I am speaking from experience. Steve Perry is one of the 10 greatest rock singers ever 😍
And no one is disputing that. What you idiots don't seem to get through your tiny closed minds is that Neal wanted the journey to continue even if it meant doing it without SP. don't you think it was in everyone's best interest to hire a singer that at least sounded like SP? None of the singers that came after SP we're meant to be a clone. They were there to provide the vocals as close as possible to the original so that journey would sound like journey. None of them was trying to BE SP! Someone had to sing the songs so it only made sense to get someone that could sing them well in that key night after night. I think Neal did a pretty fucking good job in his selections. Now take your pathetic, tired NO PERRY NO JOURNEY attitude and let the grownups visit . Journey is, was, and always be Neal's band. It existed before SP and exists after SP . Why should the fact that SP isn't in the band mean that journey can't exist?
