About the Trefl puzzle, you will love it! I've done both versions of the 9000 ones and both came with a bag torn open. All pieces were there and super fun!!!
Thank you! I've heard nothing but good things about Trefl, so I'm really excited to try a new brand! I'm pretty sure all the pieces will be there since the puzzle box wasn't too beat up in shipping. The bags are easy to break, it seems! 😅 I'll be doing the Trefl section by section soon, I think! 🧩☺️
@Addicted2Puzzles I've done a lot of Trefl and I've never seen them use those crinkly bags before. They need to stop 🤣. And I'm pretty sure its just the "unlimited fit" that have the little pieces. 👍
@Suzie.G. Lol! I'm going to replace the bags with Ziplock! 🤣 I guess I just realized unlimited fit, really means unlimited if you can combine the other puzzles together! That's actually really cool! Have you tried doing that with your Trefl Unlimited Fit puzzles?

I have one puzzle in my to do pile 😂😂 wish I had more but only buy one new one a month and several secondhand ones when I visit family in the UK. There aren't many brands available here in Greece and the shipping cost puts me off ordering from abroad. Luckily I have about 50 puzzles that I have kept and love redoing.
I think having a puzzle collection that is manageable is wonderful! I'm working to get mine under control! I know during the holidays I'll get a few cleared out for sure! I do wish shipping prices were more affordable! 🥰🧩
Yesterday evening I saw you on RUclips making a jigsaw puzzle; I can not remember but I did realized you are great at jigsaw puzzles. A neighbor next door called out my name twice. I ran to the porch on the left of the upstairs living room. I yelled out: I will be right down! I ran to the front door and to the edge of the road. A man (my neighbor) and his daughter had a jigsaw puzzle for me. He happily said: just for making all of our days, we having something special for you! The girl yelled: it’s a cat puzzle! She was hopping up and down with excitement. The man (neighbor) said: we know you love colorful images, so we got you this! They bought the puzzle new. The brand is springbok and it has 1,000 pieces. The image title is: toy cupboard. It has 3 cats all over shelves of toys. Thank goodness springbok has been making jigsaw puzzles for over 60 years. Their jigsaw puzzles are a lot of fun! I love them by the bunches😊! See if you can find the same brand and puzzle image title; it is 100% cute once you find it! Are you going to the world jigsaw puzzle championship in Spain this year? Do you think you can make the top 5 winners? I have faith in you! What brand are they using this year? It might be ravensburger this year; it was given out to solve last year. Good luck!🙂😍

I won't be heading to Spain this year. I think it would be a great experience to go and compete! I'm not really able to travel as i have a son in school and dogs too look after. But one day i would love to go! I don't think I would make top 5, maybe top 35! 😅 I've realized doing the BOTYP that I'm not really super speedy! Lol! @@Addicted2Puzzles I will be watching it on RUclips.🙂 The cat jigsaw puzzle should be the next one to be on your channel to assemble. Call the springbok company. If there is any defects on your newer springbok jigsaw puzzles, ask for the toy cupboard jigsaw puzzle. I know that they will send it to you at no cost at all. It took 2 to 3 days for it to arrive in the mail. Just give them your address, name and zip code. They might ask for your email address too!😊😇😍 It’s that easy. Sometimes FedEx will deliver it just as much as your local post office. It happened to me several times during and after the pandemic. Since I do not need a mask and I am vaccinated so I can not catch it. Some people from a pharmacy (I do not know the company name) did this for me and my friends. I know you could not make it this year. You did the right thing: kids come first and your pets as well. Then you’re love for jigsaw puzzles. Enjoyed your video. I have 213 puzzles in my to do pile. Since I complete about 110 puzzles a year, this is only a two year supply! I think that is reasonable, as you never know when we may have another pandemic, and we have to be prepared! I have both the 9k Disney Trefl and the 18k Paris puzzle. The Disney Trefl looks very interesting. I am thinking that Trefl will eventually release the other 9k and two 13.5k's that will attach to this one , really not sure, but going to get started on mine after the first of the year. I like that I can do each puzzle on its own, save them all, and then put them together when they are all complete. Happy Puzzling.
Thank you! That would be very interesting if Trefl released more Disney versions to go with this one! I may start mine next year as well, not sure if I'll have time this year! I think I have less than 30 total puzzles in my entire collection including the ones that belong to my 2 year old 😂 although with all that said I often donate puzzles to the library swap immediately after one assembly I only keep my absolute favorites!
The past few years, I have bought way more puzzles than I put together. I've always had a good collection of puzzles since I was young, but the last few years, things got out of hand! 😅 I have been getting better about giving puzzles away this year. I have a lot saved too that I taped or glued, mostly Disney puzzles! I really need to see if my library has a puzzle swap. Maybe I'll start one if they don't. 🧩🥰

That is a great puzzle haul! I like the Reverie brand especially the ones that are in their licensed collection. I've done the Evening Walk in Paris but in a much smaller piece count. The image is beautiful. My total in my to do pile is probably around the 200 range. I try to keep track on a spreadsheet but when I get new ones I forget to add them to the list.
I love Reverie! I haven't seen a puzzle I didn't like by them! I would buy them all if I had an unlimited puzzle budget! 😅 I thought about getting three Paris puzzle in the smaller piece count since I couldn't find the big one, but I'm glad I held off! I hear ya on the forgetting to add the new puzzles! I was using the puzzle tracker and I kept forgetting to put the completed puzzles in it. I got so far behind that I gave up. 😅 kind of like my IG posts... 🙈 I'm pretty behind in posting there as well! Lol! Thank you so much for watching my video! It means so much to me! My goodness what a huge stash of puzzles you have! I don't keep large quantities of puzzles as I live in a small house and haven't got the room. I probably have about 60+ jigsaws in my to do pile and none bigger than 1000 pieces. The vast majority of puzzles I do get passed on to the local puzzle exchange for others to enjoy. I was highly amused at what the subtitles came up with at 23:32. They said:- "love the art in these rubbery puzzles." 🤣 You were talking about the Reverie puzzles. Loved a lot of the puzzles you showed but no point in thinking about buying any of them as the postage costs will be through the roof. 🏘
I do wish postage was much less than some have to pay. Rubbery puzzles pretty funny! 🤣 I really grew my collection in the past couple of years when I was able to move my puzzling to a bedroom. Now the room is pretty full and I've been passing my completed puzzles onto friends and donating as well. Unless they're so pretty that I don't want to part with them. I'll either hang them or put them in a puzzle saver book. I'll do a video soon about the HXMars puzzle albums. They're very cool and a huge space saver is you save puzzles! I'm looking forward to the day when I can say my collection is under 200 honestly! I just need to work on a bunch of 500 piece puzzles and I'll get it back down! I love the 18K Paris most. In some distant future I might tackle such a big one, perhaps even mixing bags and solving two times 9K. Definitely never bigger than 9K in one go and only with an easy image...
I had been looking for the Paris puzzle for a couple of years, and I was so happy to finally find it, but it went out of stock really quick. Maybe one day, Ravensburger will reprint it! I would mix a 9k and maybe the Paris puzzle! And definitely the 24k Life puzzle! I think the Life puzzle has enough variety and color to mix it where it won't drive you crazy. I watch John's updates (at Puzzle Me This) and I'm not sure I'll ever mix that 42k puzzle! I think he is doing such an amazing job on his puzzle though! If you do a big one, I'll be watching your progress for sure! 🧩☺️
Hi, Judie! Wow! Great puzzle haul 👍🙂 I'm already so envious of the Ravensburger 18k Paris puzzle. That one is so hard to get... Just like the 13200 Clementoni Lahaina Visions 🙄... and a couple of others. I've always been curious, why is it that those best puzzles are not constantly re-printed? Puzzle brands release a lot of images that are not really interesting for people and those are all the time available; and those that everybody would love to buy, basically don't get re-printed often 🤨😕I wonder why that is... It's so weird, honestly.
Anyway, I'm so happy for you that you make your puzzle dreams come true! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun piecing your new puzzles together 😊
Personally, I do keep track of all my puzzling adventures and so far I've built 142 puzzles and currently own 94 (which, is not that many; though 3 times too many for my husband to like it 😅). I don't really have space to keep many boxes (so, some puzzles I need to let go) and I don't have enough money to buy every puzzle I'd like to have, and, they can be really expensive. So, all in all, I try to stay below 100 (which, eventually, I'm quite sure, will not work out 🙈).
Currently, I'm also working on a giant puzzle (but, not as big as your WIP in the video). I'm working on Educa 9k "The Garden of Earthly Delights" which is my biggest nightmare. I so much hate building that puzzle, but it was a gift and together with my husband, we want to eventually mount it on the wall, so I'm trying to push through.

You bring up an excellent point, Marta! And one I've also wondered about for years! Why doesn't Ravensburger (and other companies) reprint the big puzzles that Puzzlers want! Lol! I mean, if they would reprint the Paris puzzle and the Star Wars puzzle and Keith Haring, guaranteed they sell out! That sounds like a win-win situation to me! Maybe one day they will! We should ask them why they don't reprint! lol
I took a peek at your Instagram and saw your 9000 piece puzzle! It really does look pretty tough! My WIP is actually pretty easy for a large puzzle, and that makes it so much more enjoyable! And, of course, Mickey and the gang are adorable!
One day, I plan to keep my collection under 100 puzzles. I think if I were to go on a 500-piece puzzle building spree, I could get clear out a lot of my puzzle shelves! 🤔 That would be an excellent 2024 adventure!

Yeah, my 9k is really tough. The thing is, it's a painting and you're supposed to look at it from far away. But, to piece it together, you need to study the pieces from a close proximity. And, those pieces are so blurred and mostly the same texture. Last weekend I worked on that puzzle for 3 whole hours and maybe put together like up to 50 pieces... It goes so horribly slowly. But, I knew what it's going to be, so I'm doing some other puzzles in-between (so as not to go crazy...).
And yes, your Mickey puzzle is definitely easier. It's so much more colourful and cute 😊
Oh, 500-piece puzzle building spree? Sounds interesting... I didn't know you had so many 500-piece puzzles. Before deciding to go to the WJPC I actually wasn't even buying them. I always preferred "bigger" puzzles. But, now that I'm preparing for the Worlds, I noticed how cool it is to finish a puzzle in one sitting. That's a totally new experience 😉 So, I also started buying 500-piece puzzles. I actually like them 👍But, yeah, they do take some space on my puzzle shelf too...

@Kristy781 Black Friday! I bought 4 or 5 Reverie last black Friday and some Blue Kazoo, Magnolia, and Enjoy! And Jiggy! I bought way too many puzzles during Black Friday sales last year! But the pricier ones have great sales for the holidays!
And yes, your to-do pile can go from 100-300 without you even realizing it! Sneaky little Amazon gremlins are at fault! 😅
@@Addicted2Puzzles that’s my excuse next time when a package shows up. The Amazon gremlins made me do it! I’ve actually been getting a lot of my puzzles on a re-sale site. The site is mainly for clothes but there are a ton of puzzles there. I’m only there for the puzzles 🙃

@@Addicted2Puzzles I have thought about that, the Life puzzle looks like it would be so much fun, so many different things to work on and such bright colors. And that puzzle is the same size (top to bottom) as mine so it would fit on my table without any modifications. But I may need a break after this one 🙃

Just got past 200 puzzles this summer. Before Christmas it's gonna be 250+ I'm already out of space and has ordered 2 more shelfs. 🙈
I too have some puzzles from my younger years. They are gonna stay, actually most are gonna stay and the once that are not, I do and sell as fast as I can 😉 A sold jigsaw makes money and space on the shelf to buy more puzzles ❤️🧩
Yes! I like that philosophy, do a puzzle, sell it, buy more! 😄 The perfect puzzle plan! It's really not that hard to over grow a puzzle collection. I mean, it is faster to buy 5 than to do 5, right!? 🤣😅 I would love to see your older puzzles! There's something so satisfying about seeing a puzzle bought 10, 20, or 30 years ago! @@Addicted2Puzzles yep haha well well! so many incredible choices here Judie! even though I not a huge fan of solid colours, I loved the sunshine puzzles, the designs are just beautiful aren't they! and since you mentioned prices - can you imagine the shipping prices to New Zealand?! LOL it's beyond ridiculous, like on the hundreds of $ sometimes it's 2x more expensive than the puzzles (which are already expensive compared to what you guys pay over in the US! hehe so I need to resort to cheaper brands and second hand places 🤣 since you asked, I currently have 450 on hand, not counting the ones I gave away recently (some 60+). really enjoyed this, love how natural and honest you are! thx again!
@RicPuzzles I've heard from Donnalouise @fortheloveofpuzzles that shipping is crazy expensive to New Zealand! You'd make a killing opening a puzzle store if the manufacturers would cut you a great shipping deal! 😅 450 puzzles! Wow! what kind of table do you use for your puzzles and how big is it? i have the Ravensburger 9000 piece astrology puzzle and need a good table
I have a dining room table that I found at a garage sale. The table top is a little over 3.5x4.5 feet. I use foam core boards to do the puzzles on, and I stack them on top of each other after each section is complete. The boards are 40x60 inches. I get them at Office Depot, usually online, since they don't always have them in stock at the store. I tape the boards to my table so they don't slide around. If you're planning on mixing the bags, you could tape two boards together, and it'll hold the puzzle perfectly! The Astrology puzzle is really cool and the purple area was pretty tough! Have fun!

@@zanebabcock3469 I think the ability to stack the boards since they're so light is extremely helpful when you don't have a lot of space. I have 6 boards stacked up right now with the Mickey puzzle! 😅 Happy Puzzling to you!
Beautifull collection of puzzles. - I "only" have 183 puzzles in my to do pile. I made boards on Pinterest with "to do" and "done" puzzles - just for my own pleasure. My instagram was dead for a looong time - but im thinking about starting again - just with puzzles. Earlier it was Scrapbooking and a lot of cakes.

Just discovered your channel. I’ll look you up on FB and IG, too. My family loves doing puzzles, and your comments got me thinking of creating some with my art :). The Stuzzles thing looks AMAZING (though I’m not sure I quite understand it!). Congrats on getting in on the Beta for it. I’d love to see something with a more fantastical or time-travel element vs paranormal.

Wonderful puzzle haul, lots of really pretty puzzles, just love the Reverie! The big Disney one you are doing right now looks amazing! Thank you for sharing your puzzle journey!! I have 367 in my to do stash 🙃🙃🙃🧩🧩🧩 I have some boxes in a storage bin on my property of puzzles I was doing back in the 80's and really want to dig those out to see what I did, one of these days I will get to those. I do remember a lot of Charles Wysocki among others but do not recall any puzzle names, that will be fun!!

I did quite a few Springboks back then and I do remember doing Charles Wysocki puzzles with a friend of mine almost every weekend in the mid 90s! There were some really fun puzzles back in those days but I didn't keep too many of them because I just didn't have the space. If you're on Instagram or Facebook, let me know!
