    I’ve never really been a fan of Shark but more recently, I have started to like them now. I’m glad you’re doing a Shark week so I can see different machines and decide which model to go for. A friend of mine has a shark upright vacuum and I tried the lift away feature to vacuum the car and it is a very handy feature. I’m definitely going to invest in a shark vacuum and see how good they are

      U wont regret it. The cordless lift aways great for a whip round cleans i use it to clean a freinds shop since all the sockets are unacessable & it has more than enough power to lift out all the soot & grit that blows in from the roads outside & suck up leaves & all kinds of debris even small screws nails & bits of plastic go straight up the pipe with no struggle. There ideal for cleaning shops restaurants hairdressers pet shops or any other busy enviroment

    I’m so jealous. I don’t normally like bagless but the American version, called the ion P50, is my favorite bagless cordless machine ever. For some reason Shark never updated it though here. They never added zero M like they did for you across the pond and they certainly haven’t given us the powerfin version either.

    • @MrKirby365
      @MrKirby365 3 года назад +1

      I can't tell but it looks like shark may never be selling Ling the blue or red version here in the US. absolutely broken over that. The blue is my favorite color and has everything I want. I tried reaching out to shark directly but unfortunately no one has gotten back to me yet.

      @nicko5945 3 года назад

      @@mainsource8030 yes, I just saw it online at bed bath and beyond. It’s still not in sharks website so I wasn’t aware until just the other day. So cool that they brought it over. Wish we got the zero M brushroll and not the powerfins one. The powerfins brushroll is much louder that the zero M brushroll but at least we have it. Now I just wish they would bring over the canister that Roger showed as well. That’s not on sharks website or for sale at any other retailer that I can see. Have fun with you new cleaner, I’m so jealous.

    • @mainsource8030

      @@nicko5945 the powerfins is just an upgraded zero m from what i can tell

    • @nicko5945
      @nicko5945 3 года назад +1

      @@mainsource8030 it’s actually a downgrade in my opinion. The zero M still has bristles whereas the powerfins obviously don’t. So on the zero M the bristles make contact with the ground first with the fin behind the bristles. This helps the bristles with hair getting stuck in them in addition to the teeth that pull debris out of them. With the powerfins, they are obviously make contact with the floor directly and it creates a slapping sound that the zero M doesn’t have. As a result the zero M is much quieter and there really isn’t much of a difference with with cleaning ability. I have multiple sharks of both varieties and I much prefer zero M.

      I think it would. I have the IC160 as well and I emailed Shark when they released the ICZ160 which was basically the same everything except with the anti hair wrap tech. You could buy the head unit module as a part from their website and the agent confirmed that it was compatible. I don't see why it would be any different for this. Shark have basically built a modular platform with this model.

I am looking for a vacuum with very good suction on wool carpet, can't decide this cordless icz3000 or a cord Vertex IZ2002. I think the IZ 2002 has better suction (i maybe wrong) but heavier and cord, is IZ2002 good enough for me to go for a cord vacuum? Cord does not a big issue to me frankly if IZ2002 has much better suction and not too big and heavy to drive around rooms, if the battery getting old i can buy a new battery. i just need a good suction for wool carpet can go under bed, sofa. I have a dyson V8 and interested to try out Shark. Thanks for the advice and help, Emma

    I like these vacs, especially this one reviewed, this guy seems to be a really good tester, however, I don't understand the Shark range, it seems to have changed massively since this video - this one reviewed doesn't seem to be on sale anywhere, it starts with "ICZ..." which is what most reviews claim is the 'lift away' style range numbers. However, all of these seem to not be on sale anywhere and the shark website now advertises things starting with "NZ..." e.g. the "NZ850", except I cant find these ones reviewed, I cant tell if they are successors etc. Can anyone help me who knows what are teh current upright models?

      This model is available in the UK. Similar models will be available in other countries with different model numbers.

      @@ibaisaic Thanks for replying, I knew you'd know the answer. It's just that if you go to the shark website and look at the list of cordless uprights, it shows some quite different models, and I can't find this one. I'd much rather get the one you've tested if possible.

    Battery powered appliances are handy if you don't have a electrical
    Outlet to plug into.
    Charging batteries,and eventually
    Replacing batteries takes more time than a chord,and can be exspenive.
    People love vaccums, generally,and may want the best of the best.
    No vacuum or carpet cleaning method can come close to thoroughly dusting or rinsing carpet
    or rugs.
    Spend alot or a little it's your money
    ,and possible obsession.

    Do you have a contact with shark that can answer information about the US market. I am getting really really disappointed as mentioned in some of the other comments the version of this vacuum that we carry in America is called the ion P50. There is no updated version with the new anti hair wrap deep cleaning carpet technology, And air powered pet brush. I cannot find any information anywhere that shows whether or not they were ever sell this product in the US. I can't believe they're not considering it when there are so many people this disappointed. I want so badly to hold out for that blue shark it's my favorite color and I love everything about it I loved my ion P50 but gave it to a family member because they needed it more. I wanted to upgrade but if I'm not going to be able to upgrade to that it looks like I'm moving on to Samsung.

    Bought a shark anti hair rap2 months ago. Not impressed! Battery lasts well enough but it blocks for fun. Underneath there's 3 quick unlock fastners but then they've used 6 point anti tamper screws which stop you stripping the brush face down to clean/unblock it🤷🏼‍♂️. The small front guide wheels seem to be fitted in a tired orientation and they collect hair quickly which causes them to drag instead of turn. It's a shame because the suction isn't to bad and it's light enough,just the pointless use of security screws preventing access to cleaning the pick up port behind the brush. So, if you want to properly clean your machine you'll need an anti tamper set off amazon to get it done(6 point torx).

    Not impressed if you have thick plush carpets it is very hard to vacuum since this model doesn’t propel forward like the IX141. The IX141 is also very light weight that my 85 year old grandmother can use with no problems. Wouldn’t recommend…
    Do you have any recommendations for a cordless vacuum that propels forward that has a removable battery?
    I am looking for a cordless vacuum that is lightweight approx 7lbs and propels forward like the Shark IX141. I love the Shark IX141 but wish that the battery was removable and I could buy another battery for longer jobs. Why is it so hard to find the perfect vacuum.
    1. Telescopic that is ergonomically correct if your 4 ft the or 6 ft
    2. Option to propel forward (have you vacuum a thick plush carpet that doesn’t propel forward? If so, you use a lot of upper body strength.
    3. Lightweight that even my 85 year old grandmother on a breathing machine can use
    4. Removable battery with the option to buy more
    5. Great suction
    6. Good on both carpet and hard floors
    7. Not too heavy
    8. Attachments easily removable
    9. Easy to clean canister and filters
    Thank you,
    Leslie

      The best one I have is the Vorwerk VB100, but the attachments are not the most convenient to fit and it will cost over £1200 if you want all the attachments.

    WE must not have the red version in the us To bad because it looks less bulky then the blue on e that we do have! I want a sharks because of the two brushed and hoping the duster/polishing will polish the smudges I get on my shiny wood floors! I also like that it seems to pick up large particles and my dogs scatter dog food allover the kitchen! I like th eones that have all the weight on the bottom because I heard its less tiring on wrists and forearms but I can get a sleeker pro that has it up high for only 250 brand new so I think that is what i iwill do. It retails for 449.00 even more than the pro blue version, not sure why! I do like the fact that the blue stands up on its own though but dont like the fact that I cant get under furniture!
