with this such a massive project it makes my telangana colourful. need to appreciate the engineers and people involved for working on this project 24 hours.. with 3 shifts.. 1500 workmen and what not .. these many people working for my telangana..

Very good project it helps to farmers
plan to finish this before january 2019, pushing 24 hours works with 3 shifts in all sites with more manpower.
phase 1 will be completed by this year only. Even without completing the reservoirs, water can be stored by filling mission kakatiya lakes. To complete everything it will take 2-3 years as there are problems with the land as congress fellows filed cases to stop the project.
A big plus is even without completing everything still we can give water to farmers. Actually, this project would take 15-20 years or more, but it is going to complete in 4-5 years!!

submergence chala untadi... impossible to get forest clearances, interstate problems, land acquisition problems from our own oppositions parties
Ya 500 tmc kaduthe telangana ke inka karuve undadu
500 TMC at one place is highly impossible because we will not get permission from central govt. That is why KCR is building multiple reservoirs of considerable size.
and to build 500TMC lot of land is needed and so it will take many years just to get permissions and acquire land. And there is a possibility of filing of cases in courts or tribunals. And big dams will effect biodiversity and cause the problem of silt.
New Forest is it benfit to telangana. Bcz kaleshwaram will cost high electricity
don't you think 500tmc will suffer from silt, forest damage, land acquisition?? to remove silt and the cost of environmental damage is much more than electricity cost?
electricity cost will be 5k to 8k crores but environmental damage, biodiversity damage, land acquisition, rehabilitation, forest land acquiring, silt removing will cost Lakhs of crores. And we will not get permission from CWC and other agencies, from central govt, maharashtra govt. IF WE CANNOT GET PERMISSION HOW CAN WE BUILD IT??
500tmc is not at all good idea and it is impossible to build. Our opposition parties oppose even small reservoir for 50TMC, so how can you expect that they will agree for 500??
Even maharashtra can think to build 1000TMC dam as they have more water but they wont build because they wont get permission from central govt as it will affect other states and environment.
