Summernats 35 Sunday! Grand Champ, Burnout Finals, Drifting & More

Street Machine Summernats 35 Sunday was SOLD OUT just like Saturday and if you were there you'd know just how good of a final curtain it was.
In the morning JBens and Jacko headed to the PPG Supreme Awards to check out some very slick rides, two of which are winners of the last two SMOTY award. After that we hit up Skid Row in Bazza which is a cut down Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo - what a blast! Nothing like a bit of Skid Row to kick off the day.
From there we checked in with the Drift Cadet crew to see how their weekend had gone down - and didn't they give us an experience! What a crew, taking Summernats spectators for rides non-stop all weekend.
Then it was off to witness what is always a Summernats special moment, awarding a new winner Summernats Grand Champion and presenting them with the newly named Chic Henry Sword.
Sunday afternoon is always the business end to what is a year's worth of golden tickets, qualifiers and finals to get the chance to be in the shootout for burnout crowning glory.
What a week. We want to thank everyone single person who came and had an awesome time at what was a sold out event for the first time in history. We will see you all in 2024 for Summernats 36!
