I can't believe anyone is complaining about what you do. Every video, and I mean every one of them, shows your commitment to responsible homesteading and the care of your land and animals. Your hard work is evident as is your joy in sharing the ups and downs of farming. I love watching your videos and reading your newsletter. Thank you.
Seriously, folks: IF they wanted to deceive you (which is SO in their nature 🙄), you think, in addition to being dishonest, that they would be stupid enough to use wholesaler’s boxes to store them? Nice to know that you think they’re deceitful AND stupid!
Recycle, reuse, reduce, That’s called being good stewards of the (your) environment. Some folks just don’t understand that! Thank you for all your efforts to share with us, all your secrets to productive gardening and stewardship!
I was surprised that some people would accuse you of not growing the crops yourself just because you save and use produce boxes!! Those same boxes are used at most farmers markets, U Picks, and vegetable stands!! The harvest looks great!! Those plants are loving the greenhouse and the well water (plants don't do quite as well with city water)!!
Plants don't like Floride, from what I've heard. My body doesn't like it, that's why I bought a Purewell water filter system that removes it from my water. Well worth the price !
Of course, you would save those boxes, lol. People are nuts. I always save them for harvesting. I appreciate my neighbor who brings me her boxes after going to the produce auction. I am going to get some jet star and Salvatore select (did I say that right?) seeds for next year. I love the tips you guys give, like storing the tomatoes on its shoulders.😂 Thank you.
What in the world?? I can't believe anyone who has watched you for any length of time would accuse you of buying your produce. That's hilarious to me. And you two are so kind to lovingly address the issue with kindness, tact and education. God bless you both for your patience.
Those are the biggest paste tomatoes I’ve ever seen. I’m jealous of much in your garden, but those massive, beautiful paste tomatoes are at the top of the list. 😀
You are dear sweet people to me I've been watching for awhile. You now live in the south, well kinda and we call them ( tomatoes)maters, taters (potatoes) nanners (bananas).I did a study on the southern accent and vernacular and surprisingly it comes from the British aristocracy mixed with the French and different tribes of Native Americans that became very friendly with the whites that settled in the south. Most of the Irish settled in the upper parts of the country but some of the Irish adventure seekers went south . People who weren't born and raised in the southern states tend to think we are lazy, they are so wrong in most cases. They've prejudged before they have spent time with us, God is so good that He only can judge righteously. God bless and keep y'all 😊
What a wonderful video 😁 I am so happy your greenhouse is working out so well. I am hoping for 2 things...1 that you go over your salsa making again by making a video...and 2 that you show us you in ground garden 👍 Thank you for the video ❤️
Pampered plants haha! Beautiful harvest and an even more beautiful greenhouse! It's just so lush and green and WOW those tomatoes! Those Amish one's are so pretty!
Awesome crop of tomatoes!! Love your channel. Just have to say that if someone is so hypercritical of your channel maybe they need to find one that makes them happier. 👋🏻 Thank you for sharing your life with us and good to see you feeling better! ❤️
Beautiful harvest! Your hard work and diligence is being rewarded! Thank you for sharing with us! Blessings on your day Kiddos!🥰🌻🐛💕Carolyn (have a new garden name now PTL!)
What a beautiful harvest! Thank you for sharing it with us. I am VERY impressed with how the greenhouse is working out for you. I also love the irrigating system Kevin set up for the green house. Lord willing will be doing the same when we finally find our homestead! God bless and take care all!
Great harvest, how is the out side garden doing, glad Kevin is doing lots better How is the ducks enjoying the new pond, God Bless and Thank you for everything you do.
Our tomatoes are really doing great and we just picked 78 ears of sweet corn. We don’t have a green house but garden in doing good. You all are doing great.
I saw these planted and they all look great. So Proud of you all. I love making my sauce and salsa. I love your receipe. Thank You all so much. Lv and Prayers to all.
Oh my, what a plentiful bounty. This is the biggest harvest I have seen in the years of following you. I can smell and taste those delicious looking tomatoes. Your vegetables are home grown not bought. If they are true followers they know it’s all home grown with rabbit manure and other home fertilizer, all safe and natural. Thanks for all the educating you both do and all your videos.
Really!!!! Some people think your buying your produce. For what purpose? Don’t they watch you harvest and, even more so, that your honesty has always been evident in your videos. Take care and God bless.
We had huge garden a couple years ago and made many kinds of salsa favorites were the fruit salsa's,spicy salsa's,and many said they loved the zucchini salsa's.
So happy to see you both grow through trial and error❤️❤️A wonderful crop season and it’s not over yet Congratulations to you both your work ethic and is also admirable God bless as always 🇨🇦🥰🙏
Wow, that table display of produce looked like a professional TV setup. Just beautiful!! How satisfying when you see the end results. I just hope you can get some of the tomatoes inside and canned before Kevin gets to them, lol. I know my mouth was watering. Oh by the way, I use Plum/Roma tomatoes on my sandwiches because they ARE less watery. Thanks, Melaney from SoCal
Great day’s harvest. My mouth waters just looking at all that fresh produce. My Jet Star tomatoes are huge and taste fantastic this year too. I’ve been eating tomatoes every day for weeks. God Bless!
That's how I feel in western Massachusetts USA! I've been eating cherry tomatoes but with all the rain the other tomatoes are not ripe yet. I only grow a few things in containers. Those tomatoes and peppers are amazing!
My tomatoes, the few I have so far, are still green, except for Sun Gold cherry. Here in western Washington our nights are cool so I think it takes longer and we harvest most tomatoes in August. I'm still waiting, not so patiently.
don’t let those jealous people bother you. Both of you guys are AWESOME 🤩!! This year I didn’t have luck with tomatoes but I got lot of cucumbers! Thanks for reminding me to pull out my old plants.
You know Kevin and Sarah you are a great inspiration to almost all of your viewers, for those few outliers as we say in the South, Bless their hearts....cant fix stupid.....
I LOVE YOUR GARDEN... My Dad was an AWESOME FARMER and we had a HUGE garden every year when I was a kid...! In someways I was like Kevin...I used to eat the veggies as I helped picked the garden...! lol...! 🤣 Thank You for letting us tag along...! God Bless YOU...! Shelly... 👍❤👍
Love how Kevin is with picking the tomatoes pick one for the box and two for me I love tomatoes too and I do the same it’s wonderfull to pick your own and just stand in the garden and eat
Actually, the ignorant are always going to be ignorant. I wouldn't be so quick to attribute their behavior to hate.Never assume malice when stupidity could be more likely.
As I watched you harvest the beautiful tomatoes. It reminds me of my Dad, and how he and family friends would compete on who could grow the “biggest “ tomato 🍅 made my heart glad and so impressed with the new info on the different types of tomatoes. Looking forward to seeing you make your salsa!!! Thanks for sharing.
I recently purchased a seed packet of the Amish paste tomatoes from Azure. Hopefully I'll have success as well next spring.🍅🍅 You two are having a wonderful harvest this year. Congratulations, hard work does pay off.🎉
Your tomatoes are Gorgeous, & your other vegetables look delicious!😊I'm in eastern New Mexico & we're very hot & dry with drought conditions. We've been under serious water restrictions for several weeks, so we're praying for rain.🌞
I grew a variety this year called "spoon" tomatoes, also purported to be "the smallest tomato" and I think they are closer! each ripe tomato is the size of a small pearl!
Such a beautiful harvest! Tomatoes and peppers are my happy veggies! lol They are pretty and so tasty, too. Thanks for taking us along as you provide for your family. ❤️
I learned from a facebook group that the splitting of tomatoes can be lack of calcium and can be prevented by pouring some diluted milk or some pulverized egg shells. Keto on strong!!! ❤️ God bless!
Kevin, did you forget the salt shaker 😂😂. Your plants look like they have done great for you all, well done plants and well done to you two too for helping them grow.
Ha! I am growing the smallest tomatoes..sweet pea currant tomatoes. And they are tiny! Like peas. They look like red glass beads and have a delightful strong tomato flavor. I’ve never grown them before so this was a real treat! Blessings to you guys!
Do they not know you can buy those boxes/baskets just as well as other places. Some people just don’t think. A great harvest. Now to work it all up into yummy stuff.
I've grown Sugar Rush Peach, the plants were 5 feet tall, and I was harvesting until November!!!!! I love making pepper jelly with them!! So yummy over brie, or pour over a roasted chicken...
Good ☕️☕️ Morning Kevin & Sarah,OH MY GOSH! I am so happy for your family!Your relentless hard work has given you a fantastic harvest.Bless you both.Sarah would love to see your salsa recipe.🌽🥒🍅🫑
Fantastic harvest!! I also cannot believe that you needed to address the use of the cardboard boxes, Kevin! It's amazing what sone folks choose to focus on!
Thank you for sharing your info on the tomatoes both on varieties and removing vine for storing and putting them in the boxes upside down❤. I reuse boxes and egg cartons all the time. I completely understand and it only makes sense to use what you have available. Glad to see hubby feeling better ❤
I can't believe anyone is complaining about what you do. Every video, and I mean every one of them, shows your commitment to responsible homesteading and the care of your land and animals. People complain about everything nowadays
Ditto... love you guys!
@@_Hmanz_ Nah....especially fans of LTH. Vast majority are encouraging and thankful. A whole lot of positivity on this channel!
Exactly! Who hasn't saved a strawberry or mushroom tub? They are the "cool whip" containers of the produce aisle! LOL Take care!
Seriously, folks: IF they wanted to deceive you (which is SO in their nature 🙄), you think, in addition to being dishonest, that they would be stupid enough to use wholesaler’s boxes to store them? Nice to know that you think they’re deceitful AND stupid!
I love it, Kevin was like a child picking the cherry tomatoes, some in the basket , more in the mouth. LOVE IT , God's Blessings to you both.
I cracked up when I saw him do that.🙃
Yes, he was like, "One for basket, two for me." Good thing no one was watching. LOL

Absolutely!! The same goes for local farmers who reuse egg cartons (they get accused of buying their eggs from the grocery store and reselling them)!!
What an amazing harvest. We saw the seeds being planted, the plants being potted and now the abundant harvest. Thank you for sharing.
😂😂😂 Kevin is harvesting like me..... some go directly in the mouth! Yummy 😋 Great harvest! I like those boxes and save them too. Blessings!❤🤗
Oh yes I totally agree with you 😊😘😋🤗
I was surprised that some people would accuse you of not growing the crops yourself just because you save and use produce boxes!! We love growing in our greenhouse. 🎉
Beautiful display of vegetables. I love how both of you work together.

I was just going to say that. I am done growing romas. Next year it will be Amish paste for me.

Your green house is also protecting your plants from the chem trails. That is a huge plus. What a wonderful harvest!
Beautiful harvest. Can't wait to see how your outside garden does.
People are so funny. Some cheer you on. Like me. Others are so accusing. Too bad for them. Their life can't be happy. You guys are wonderful!

I find it odd that not so long ago meteorologists could predict the weather days out. Now it changes by the minute.
Awesome harvest!
Oh my gosh, those tomato plants look like Christmas in July. Those plants are so decorated 🤣🤣👏👏👍
Haters are gonna hate. I’m excited to see your harvest and happy for you. I enjoy learning from your experiences and videos. Thanks!
Actually, the ignorant are always going to be ignorant. I wouldn't be so quick to attribute their behavior to hate.Never assume malice when stupidity could be more likely.
Some people just look for things to criticize another. I enjoy the intended content and not nitpicking at the irrelevant details.
That’s a great harvest nice to see all your hard work ,paying off
