Linda I am doing this step by step and you are an angel from heaven. So far this is a far easier method than turning the handle in cos I found it difficult to get the machine foot in the space.made 2 bags the other method. Your method is far easier and making a neater finished product

I love this bag. I made it reversible and did sew a bit of the 2 sides together- be careful with the hand sewing as it's easy to catch the other side. The template is a great idea and can't get over how it helps! I will be getting more of your inventive tools. Great video and thank you Linda! Kat from Denver ( we talked on the phone) . :)

i just ordered the pattern, cannot wait for it to arrive. I try to make my own patterns, but drawing straight lines is a real challenge. this will be well worth it. i am so glad i found your RUclips channel. and I like the box bottom too.

I use thermal curtain lining as this way I have my lining with the fleece already attached

What are the measurements of the finished bag?
@@TracyG07 Great question! These are just approximates: From very top of handle to bottom 12". From bottom to side 6" high Bottom base 5 1/2" square. Bag opening 8" - 9". I'll try to take some pics with a measuring tape & add them to my website.

You make it look more complicated than it really is
I appreciate your feedback. That is definitely not my intention! It is really an easy project, so I didn't plan for it to come off like that.
How to make?
Apologies for the delay - you can make this using my No Slip Template. Cut your outer & lining fabric using my template; it's so much easier & better than other options. Then you'll just follow the steps in my video to make the bag. They are really easy!
