I think Scully as a very boring woman: lacking intellectual curiosity, imagination, and inquisitiveness, having a rigid mind that was not able to learn from new experiences (for ex. she kept denying supernatural explanation after so much evidence). Also, Scully didn't care much about truth, or justice, or anyone else other than Mulder.

Scully was my childhood hero, the character that taught me that you could be smart and strong and brave and soft and full of wonderful complexities. Gillian Anderson brought this Scully to life, gave her flesh and blood and heart. I'll love both dearly for the rest of my life for that.
That Beyond the Sea monologue is one of the best in history. Still gives me goosebumps after all these years. That was when Gillian showed she was here to stay
And that's an early episode in season one...she was already showing what she could do even back then...thank goodness Chris Carter took a chance on her...such a wonderful actress and distinct beauty...and so underrated!
