Regardless that sometimes you get insta-headshotted, the habit of a patient, good tap is needed. A few ways to avoid getting one-tapped: don't peek into an angle when that obviously not smurfing Jett has info that you are there. Stop taking fair fights. Flank, lurk, or use flash or stun abilities to avoid fair fights. There you go, now you will be headshotted 7/10 times instead of 9. Remember, slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

Something that helped me a ton is setting 'Network Buffering' to Maximum in settings. Before that, enemies would one-tap me like a nanosecond after I see them, even when they weren't holding the angle. My theory is that this happens because the server predicts your movements to lower ping players, allowing them to see you before you even peek. If you read the technical blog posts Riot puts out, this is how the server deals with players of different latencies, by predicting movement. This is also why sometimes you shoot enemies point blank but the bullets don't register any damage. Setting Network Buffering to maximum seems to give me a bit more time to kill enemies and have fairer fights. Keep in mind this only works if your ping is not too low or too high, (mine's around 50ms)
@@paulroy2645 It works by giving you like one more second to aim and kill enemies, before their shots kill you. At least, that's what it feels like. This really helped, i grineded the DM untill i won exactly by following it - most importantly i had to remap my crouch which gave me huge boost and my crouching habit was a nail in foot
Great video… a good tip that’s hard to make a habit but works 90% of the time is when an enemy swings you while you are holding them, don’t just shoot, they swing, YOU swing wider, THEN you shoot… sometimes you will get one tapped, but it’s the same for when YOU one tap people, it was just a nice shot, and everybody will hit them here and there. Don’t sweat it if someone keeps one tapping you all game, they simply had a great game and I promise they don’t play that well every game.
Yeah, I think either moving with them or shooting a 2 bullet burst quickly and then insta moving are both good strategies. If you're able to move when they stop to shoot, you have good chances of winning the duel.
"What the hell am I doing wrong?!" oh. Thank you. I've been doing this more and more because it works, but I actually thought maybe I was putting a bandaid on the problem rather than solving it. I'm very happy to see this. I don't care if it is confirmation bias.
Thank you so much man. I literally lost like 15 games in a row and deranked from diamond to plat 2 the past couple days and felt like my aim/mouse control was a little off for some reason. I kept flicking too fast out of panic/low confidence and losing gunfights, not realizing what the problem was. This gave me something to practice.
Nice guide , I do follow those tips in deathmatches or any swiftplay. But when I play compi and opponents are crushing our team then I play extremely terrible even I missed an enemy which was reloading his vandal 😅.. and I'm silver 1 .. my friends kicked out me from party now I'm here to improve my aim
Great video. Your explanation is pretty amazing by breaking down the problems and then showing the solutions is top notch. Keep up the great work. Also, will you release video about Aim Training/Routine And Warmup exercises? Containing such practice which you have shown in the video and other exercises? I am currently in gold and in need of a proper aim and movement training😅 Once again keep it up.
im immortal 1 and now i figured out why i suck at dms (didn't take my time with shots; I needed to swing wider). I just won 4 in a row after playing 30 this act and winning none
I've gathered all the information in my head to practice in valorant like strafe-stop and aim like in this video, and multiple videos in YT to improve aim and avoid being one-tapped. But I've still been headshotted every single game I play ._.
In CS, and the same applies to valorant I'm sure, the pro's have always said "If you take more than .5 seconds to kill your target, you're already dead". I'm 43, and in these "instant ttk" games (CS, Val, anything with 1-shot headshots) the .5 seconds or death has been pretty spot on over the decades unless you're playing bots.
6:29 I like this bind example and I like how you recreate it from the enemy POV. However, next time could you also recreate it with the improvements you are talking about? i.e. in this example, you would recreate it except instead of trying to flick, you instead try to keep moving, so it's easier to visualize what you are talking about
Yeah, good point. I should have implemented a pov of the fix too. The fix would look very similar to the opponents POV. Essentially whoever stops first to shoot will have the "disadvantage" because of taking a harder shot. Of course if you hit that shot, then you win, so it's a tradeoff. I explain this in detail in my video on the SVS advantage: ruclips.net/video/Rdg_elXPE8g/видео.html
@@theguide_val i get that example and i loved and understood the whole video, but if we were to exaggerate the “whoever stops first to shoot will have the disadvantage” wouldn’t everyone just be poppin swinging everyone and it becomes a matter of how good your tracking is?
Funny thing is that i do that without even realising it, even though I don't know if this method does exist 😂 Ps: i use low sensitivity, eDPI of 330 that made it hard to move the mouse for flicks so it made me strafe and adjust while shooting.
This works a lot of the time, but your movement aim can get messed up if you get shot. I think this works better against better players, rather then the ones that just spray at your body and mess you up.

tried applying this last week. literally every time, except for once, where i consciously took an extra step or 2 to get my crosshair in the right spot, i died before even stopping my movement. majority of those fights they didn't even have info that i was coming from that angle, so i'm just lost at this point...

yk what i have this problem where i stand still and i know the solution but still when i go into the game i forgett everything today i will try to focus on this bad habit
Mostly it is for me the fact that I get one tapped before I see the enemy. It is not like I have the time to react but I am too slow, but more getting run and gunned with a headshot consisently. They just peek and hit a headshot without me seeing them before I am dead, might be a skill issue, but happens.
This most likely happens because you are holding default angles. If you are standing in a common spot and they pre-aim you and strafe out, you are always at a disadvantage because they are more ready for the fight than you are. Resulting in you getting one-tapped. Either - hold off angles (search for it on youtube) - or peek and un-peek the common angle to get a timing of strafing into the opponent yourself who just cleared your spot and now thinks you're not there (there's also tutorials for that)

I just noticed that its just all about dynamic changes just a little thing needs to change and the outcome can be something completely different aim here is more or less important
I’ve just started playing I feel like I’m missing something. I get one shotted and don’t have time to even shoot like the title. Everyone I queue with is many levels above me and makes me question the skill matchmaking. But also I guess I haven’t played an fps in 3 or something months
I try this. Practiced on the dummies. Starting to get this down. Then I went into death match. Problem is even when moving, if I get hit by the bullet, my character pretty much grinds to a halt and then I get destroyed.
I actually notice that for a while, I've been strafing a lot, counter strafing actually. I am iron lol stop playing for a month or two to grind of csgo but anyway I noticed that my primal response when an enemy appear is to strafe and aim. I wanted to conclude that it actually help me a lot and that I am an unlucky person.
I'd also like to add that don't let deathmatch make you feel like your bad at the game. you'll die alot and get in many unfair fights due to bad spawns, people preaiming every corner and getting double teamed. I've had deathmatches that have gone horrific only to pop off in my next comp game because I could play in proper game conditions. deathmatch should just be used to refine any aim mechanics, dont care about winning or how many times you die as its really not important.
Love the video, great tips. I do this, I even try to exclusively deadzone my shots so I never actually stand still but I feel like the enemy kills me before I kill them either way. Any Idea why this is happening to me? Also.. you sound like you are from tschörmeni… are you? :P
I'm german, yeah :D Well, could be different reasons.. if you focus too much on movement but then don't hit your shots, it's a problem too. There needs to be balance in your mechanics. Could also be that you strafe, but always the same pattern and same rythm. Varying your rythm by sometimes strafing long and sometimes short can really throw opponents off.

Should i aim first, placing the crosshair next to the enemies head, and then moving so the crosshair lines up with the head, or should i move first, and then move the crosshair to the head. I personally feel as if the first choice requires less steps and thought, simply predicting the crosshair placement, and then moving it until it lines up with the head. I would love your take on this
The real problem is ping if you play on 60 ping server you will always get one tapped I just found this out recently I was wondering why I was dying so fast in low asc lobbies
I need an advice about spraying. Like when do i spray? Is it okay to crouch and spray when the enemy is 7-12 meters away? I dont know when i should spray and when not.
Was watching some of your videos and love the advice, but got a bit confused when you were stressing the importance of overflicking. Is the goal ultimately to try and not overflick as much by improving your microflicking so that you won't have to compensate as much through movement?
The overflicking exercise is just there to get a feeling for moving longer and taking your time to aim. By overflicking you have more space to sort of "move" the crosshair onto target. In an actual game you still need fast flicks and adjustments and overflicking on purpose is not such a big thing. You can do it if you know that you want to do a long strafe because then it helps you to positions the crosshair a bit further left/right than usual.
4:21 good to know a new way to attack front , but mostly I like to flank enemy back I got a problem when practice landing crosshair like over flick or either reach 80% of distance from target and then I move again which get myself kill in some wider angle is there tutorial to fix that?

😄 thank you my friend!
I just noticed that its just all about dynamic changes just a little thing needs to change and the outcome can be something completely different aim here is more or less important
You actually deserve a sub
Have a higher/same monitor refresh rate as your enemy
wait this actually helped me get out of bronze
thanks that was very helpful
"imagine this bot is you", bro I dont have to imagine something that's already real
😂😂 we also started somewhere!
chill guys, even with aimbot you will still get onetapped with people running 240km/h across the wall, thats how this game works
Thanks I got lots of headshot with this tip so helpful
I’ve just started playing I feel like I’m missing something. I get one shotted and don’t have time to even shoot like the title. Everyone I queue with is many levels above me and makes me question the skill matchmaking. But also I guess I haven’t played an fps in 3 or something months
starkes video bro
I try this. Practiced on the dummies. Starting to get this down.
Then I went into death match. Problem is even when moving, if I get hit by the bullet, my character pretty much grinds to a halt and then I get destroyed.
The problem is that as soon as they appear on my screen, I'm already dead.
idk if you are going to see this but your tips help so much
Of course, saw it and thank you! :)
@@theguide_val no problem
I'm german, yeah :D
Well, could be different reasons.. if you focus too much on movement but then don't hit your shots, it's a problem too. There needs to be balance in your mechanics. Could also be that you strafe, but always the same pattern and same rythm. Varying your rythm by sometimes strafing long and sometimes short can really throw opponents off.
"Move a lot, shoot less" thanks a lot!
Insanely helpful..
ich danke für diese sehr gut erklärten tips, habe schon lange nach so einem channel gesucht. kannst du mal ein video machen wie man mit der vandal und phantom spielen sollte? das video ist echt gut geworde! keep going
Danke! :) Was meinst du genau wie man mit denen spielen sollte? Recoil control oder welche fights man nehmen sollte etc.? Gibt viele Sachen
@@theguide_val welche Fights man nehmen sollte, und ob man mit einem bestimmten Agent die vandal oder Phantom spielen sollte wegen den smokes zb. Gibt halt vllt auch noch andere gründe
I would love your take on this
The real problem is ping if you play on 60 ping server you will always get one tapped I just found this out recently I was wondering why I was dying so fast in low asc lobbies
lol sure
I need an advice about spraying. Like when do i spray? Is it okay to crouch and spray when the enemy is 7-12 meters away? I dont know when i should spray and when not.
Wow, after using the things taught in this video my HS% went from 13% to 22% in my first game after watching it lol
That keyboard sounds so good 😩
Very good!!!
Thx for the tip
Your voice is relaxing
Was watching some of your videos and love the advice, but got a bit confused when you were stressing the importance of overflicking. Is the goal ultimately to try and not overflick as much by improving your microflicking so that you won't have to compensate as much through movement?
The overflicking exercise is just there to get a feeling for moving longer and taking your time to aim. By overflicking you have more space to sort of "move" the crosshair onto target.
In an actual game you still need fast flicks and adjustments and overflicking on purpose is not such a big thing. You can do it if you know that you want to do a long strafe because then it helps you to positions the crosshair a bit further left/right than usual.
basic stuff in csgo but depends anyone can still tap u while moving or while u move u get a bad position and cant get cover and aggressive move
4:21 good to know a new way to attack front ,
but mostly I like to flank enemy back
I got a problem when practice landing crosshair like over flick or either reach 80% of distance from target and then I move again which get myself kill in some wider angle
is there tutorial to fix that?
