Polygon type cabing on legs with kind of glass roof for stargazing and with bed and bookcase inside. I have an idea and im trying to do it in sketchup but I often get stucked at certain points. Aaron, where do I put in a request for you to address something in a video. Has to do with framing an addition on a house. Primarily the valley plate of a hip and valley roof. If you’re familiar with framing, it’s what the Jack rafters sit on when framing a reverse gable and framing on top of existing rafters. Unlike a true valley. Thanks
Answer: before making a change to a component you need to edit component by double clicking it first. You will know you are in editing mode when a dotted box appears around the component. Make changes then click outside the dotted box to complete the changes.
I don't know where my comment went. waiting to be moderated? the time in question is the board being created starting at 5:15, 'adding perimeter support framing'. I'm unable to select only it after extrusion. 1 click the face, 2 the vertices, 3 the entire table. I did the extrude with the + mode so it would create a new face. I"m also using the newest web version, 2 yrs later, so some things have changed. Any suggestions?

At 8:30 when push pull to round the leg it does the whole leg instead of the small pieces that I used the arc to separate, what am I doing wrong?
