Watched the vid. I'm starting out with a 2021 Ram 2500 crew cab. Starting with a 2022 big tex 70ch 20dt 1 car hauler. This video gave me some confidence. Nice job.
Cool starter vid. You learned the most important thing in hauling: 10 different guys will have 10 different ways of doing things. You'd probably been ok with the way you had it to begin with. In any case, you can buy a weight distribution hitch with sway control for a few hundred bucks if you do have a trailer that behaves weird at higher speeds. Hope all is well
Great job 1st haul. You had the Jeep loaded right the first time. The heaviest part of the vehicle is the engine compartment. You had it forward of the trailer axles. They knew you were “new” because they saw new straps and trailer.
Don't use the chassis holes, and don't cross your tie downs. Both of those things are asking for trouble
Dattz Wuzzup 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Glad you ran into some people with extra knowledge.... There's always something to Learn...
First off.. BIG PROPS BRO !!
Can you let us know the paperwork goes, what's needed?
How did you get your first load?
I appreciate your humility!!
Thanks ahead
We all have our “1st Day” !
Nice job !
All the best to you ! 💪🏼👊🏼👍🏼
Gotta have it tight and secure... All vehicles are different with different hook points and things you Can't hook to sometimes...
Hey Dee...awesome starting point. Like how you present that. All that time I was so preoccupied about dually and wedge trailer. Think I would start with 2500HD with 2 car trailer. Wouldn't be so bad.
Again...Love how you present fro the beginning to end. Go slow and take it a step at a time. Great work
Nice video. Good luck!!! Stay safe!! 👍👍👍
Not everyone will be as cool when you make your drop so keep doing your inspections and making notes of everything. Some will try to make up a problem to get you to take money off the delivery fee. I had this happen a few times.. Just cover yourself and if you are truly at fault don't try to deny it just be straight up. You will build your reputation up to the point where if someone does bad mouth you people won't believe it. God bless an stay safe
Respect!
I appreciate it.
I hope you got more business going and grew in the last 2 years
I'm starting single car hot shot next month (April). My company name is The Hauling Horseman, based in Iowa. Maybe I'll see you out there brother! Haul safe! Good info!
Good job
Hope all works out for you....
Great job man! 👏🏻🙌 ballz heading into the city, can only do with a 1 car or 2 car Bc can’t fit with nothing else 😂 keep it rolling and I’ll see you on the mean pot-hole streets of Jersey 😉
Watching your video now, im starting out with a 1998 Chevy K2500 Suburban with a bombproofed 6.5 Detroit TurboDiesel looking forward too starting
Hello from Brasil !!!!!
Rear air bags for the rear of the truck so it can get leveled out bro
Nice
Hey nice video!!!! get you some timbren bump stops, that will keep your truck from squatting with the load. Again nice video!
Thanks and be safe.
Thanks for the tip
Great video what do charge for transportation 🧐
Still worth it doing a single
🔥🔥🔥🔥
You have a bumper pull trailer.....i would think a gooseneck trailer handles differently??
It does, as you add weight. Goosenecks also turn tighter
I’m thinking about doing this with a brand new Tundra 22…..where do you find these jobs….
Thank you
Hey The car was to far forward. It needed to be back just a little bit. So your truck want SAG as much
What load boards do you use?
👌🏾👍🏾👌🏾
If you do single car trailer do you need stop at scale if you pass one?
Do you need a cdl for that?
How can you find the loads, and what do you need for that?
Cuz but is DOT pass the way you strapping??
I have a question about getting paid. Are the clients on a net30 payment plan???
I’m studying for my CDL as we speak. However, I need some money and I have a rear wheel drive truck and a single vehicle trailer. Can I do hotshot with a single veh trailer and how many will I have to do a day to make at least decent money
Did you ever get info on this? Also looking to start like this
What car are you starting with please
how much did you make?
Can you meke a video show us how put the straps and what kind straps do you use
Hello Jonathan
Thank you for your question.
I just got some new straps. I'll be working on a video showing you the one I use and how I use them.
You’re doing this in a normal F150???
Could that truck haul a 32ft trailer or 30
How can you afford commercial insurance premiums loading 1 car at a time?
Sir
When doing this video are you using a car broker or you are the car broker also
Hey! Loved to see a video of day one hauling one car. Can you please let me know where you got your trailer from and it was used/new? Lastly, how long is that trailer? I’m doing everything to get started asap. Keep it up! You got a new subscriber now 👍👍👍

Hey my friend i fallowed you’re advice on getting a car hauler and it’s going great so far but I find my self struggling to find jobs at time any suggestions or websites I live in Southern California I have a 20ft car hauler with a 2500
First of all let me say congrats 👏 to you. It's good to hear people doing good and working for themselves. Now regarding what websites, I used "Central Dispatch" and "ship.cars". You will have to set up an account.
I'm a freight broker now. Email your company info including your contact information to me. Also contact your insurance company and make "4D's Transport LLC" a card carrier and have them email me a copy of your insurance so I can keep on file.
If I find something in your area, I will contact you.

Good luck with everything.
Wait what was that business name
I want to do the same car hauling just the way u do so my plans is I have a truck 5k towing capacity and I’m looking at a 6 1/2 x 12 1/2 trailer to start hauling help me out
Me too
How old is your dot# and do you have a cdl?
Thank you for your question and sorry for the delay. I have been very busy. I'm going on about 5 months with my DOT and yes I do have a CDL but its not necessary for this type of setup. You don't need a CDL if you are 26,000 lbs and under.
Do you need commercial insurance
Do you have under CDL.. with a GVWs on your trailer and on your truck?
And that's what I'm looking to do actually
No cdl on a one car trailer like his.
Can I use a Ram 1500
Yes, Just make sure you upgrade your suspensions and pay attention to your tow capacity.
You mentioned you have little over head….. Do you have a DOT #? Because if you are hauling vehicles you are required to have a Commericial liability policy.

Look me up Brother, we're on the same path
I subscribed!!
How far north do you go?
And do you have a rate for private customers?
I had a customer that needed a car taken from NJ to FL. Im insured up to 500 miles.(NC) She was trying to find out if her relative can meet me there to pick up the car. I thought "if only I knew someone that could meet me halfway and take it to FL.

Sounds like we could work something out, what city is it going to?
I normally try to find one going up before I agree to bring one down, also I try not to go under $1.20 a mile if I'm outside of FL.
But we can still work something out if I'm given enough time to work something out with another vehicle.
Keep me posted.
Unfortunately you were given bad advice. Never put the weight on the tongue of the trailer center it over the axles. The way you had the car was right to begin with. Those trailers are designed to be pulled that way. You don’t want the ass end of your truck sagging you want it level.
