Hey Nokuhle. Great content, however I dont think simply using the graph to decide on buying a share or not is a good idea, using Steinhoff as an example, if someone didnt know their history they could be fooled into thinking it was a tremendously undervalued share.
In my mind i chose Investor B because of their large amount😂😂. Only to realise Investor A is the correct answer. Thank you so much for this video it was very informative ❤
Hi maKhumalo just a quick question,so I want to invest a R1000 monthly for a year right, how then would suggest I go about it since I want to diversify my portfolio?
Nice! Must you invest in SA stocks or are there other options? Can you invest in foreign markets too. Like can you invest in the US market from another country? Like wouldn't it be more profitable?
Yes it's possible and there are a number of ways you can do this but it's probably better using a finance expert in the country you want to invest in. They're not half as expensive as you think and know their way around the markets and taxes better. I am in Australia and investing in the American market and it's been wonderful so far. Goodluck.
You should start by looking out for those from known firms and good track records. You should also make sure the person is licensed. Personally, I use Michael, Allen Eckrich. He's good and you could also look him up.
What is the annual interest rate for ETFs such as the S&P500, S&P Europe 350, and SATRIX TOP40? I believe it is around 6.5-10% on average. If that's the proportion, what makes these options preferable to investing with African Bank or Capitec at 9-11% each year for 3-5 years, aside from the fact that our local banks can only offer us up to R100k if a bank declares bankruptcy?
Investor A is better Investor even though Investor A has more return than a that is due to his/her Money invested but in terms of % return A is gain more, as you can swipe the return percentage it also shows.
Hello Nokuhle, really enjoyed this video for a dummy like me who knows nothing about investment. I’m really looking forward to investing for my kid’s future. Can we try to buy from Apple
In recent years, a significant portion of the stock market returns have been driven by just a handful of companies that have come to be known as the “Magnificent 7” (AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOGLE, AMZN, META, TSLA) Which of these stocks do you consider the 'healthiest' in terms of profit and risk? I have about 300k ready money to invest for my eventual retirement.
Maybe I am pessimistic about the future of our country but I heard one tried investment analyst claim because of our country's political and economic climate investors should shy away from our country also it's seems we don't have the right companies for 21st century economy things like the internet or 4IR companies. So is investing in SA equities or asset classes a good investment
I was rooting for investor B yazi, disappointed. So does this mean ukuthi despite how big your money is, if your interest rate is big then you get bigger returns? My you please invest in Shoprite and Pepstore next week. I noticed that the top40 has a lot of mining, telecommunications and insurance companies; can't I create my own top40 when I start investing (since I don't support 90% of those companies listed in the top40)?
😅😅😅 yeah I agree with the solution and I particularly liked the demonstration of performance by use of graph n pics I think it's useful, looking forward to next one ...

🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I’m glad I could help Joeleen. See you next week ☺️
Ngicela ni-like-ni 🙃
Where did u go yo get this graph
on Google. I searched “[company name] share price”.
Example: Glencore share price (the company I used was not Glencore)
If it's 14k how much will you be buying the share
Can I put R500 once off or must I put that money every month
It's up to u, u can deposit "buy shares anytime u have money"
I chose investor A because of the 16%Return 😅but I thought they will invest that small amount and get 16% then invest it again and keep getting 16%
