Dundee in KZN!!! Yes, I'll say it out loud because my parents got scammed their pension money by that 'truck' company!!! I still pray that whoever owns that company will meet his/her maker one day shem. People are really cruel out there 💔
Eyyyy dude!! So so many elders are impacted by this. And I even suspect that they have an inside man who tells them about people who are about to retire - because those people are often the main targets. (They have money, usually older so more susceptible to being tricked). I’m so sorry about your parents 🫂 I truly hope they somehow eventually recover their funds.
first of all I just wanted to say that the lipstick is just perfect on you by the way👍way secondly thank you for this video so that we can get educated be aware of criminals using new tricks to try and scam us🙌🙌
🥹🥹🥹🤭 < blushing > thank you! That time I’m VERY self-conscious when wearing a red lippie because it’s so loud 😂. So glad you watched this video and hoping no one tries anything on you 🥊 we’re ready for them!!
For the last one, never trust links and using a virtual card really helps on online shopping and you can just set limit to exactly wat you buying at the time.
😭✋🏾 I’m scared to even reply viciously to them because apparently they circulate your number for future scams because “you’re rude”. Also omg 😭💔 sorry about number 2. But glad you survived it 🙏🏾. please do share with us if there's any information I missed out in my storytelling.
Story 3 happened to me. I'm an mua and someone sent me a fake pop and they "sent" more than required. then they asked for the difference back.. I said no and that ill only send once the funds reflect in my account. The funds never cleared
Story 1 almost happened to a friend to senior lady friend of the family. They put the ad in a news paper with nation wide deliveries luckily before paying someone advised them to go view the car after driving from Ulundi KZN to Sasolburg only to find out it was scam.
A whole AD 😭??? you’re actually 100% making sense especially because there’s an assumption that once something is on the newspaper it has to be legit (because we assume newspapers do some due diligence) kanti 💔💔💔. Yerrrrrr.
Inhloni kimi😭the last story, luckily I was so broke I had like R10 in my account and they needed R5, I actually clicked on the link and entered in my information but the transaction ended up declining (from the scammers website) each time I pressed 'submit'😭😭I ended up just leaving it. WHAT??!!!!! it looked legit I promise you
😭😭😭😭 listen. I honestly get it because I had already inputted my card details until I noticed a spellling error on the website description and I was like “hold on. Hooooold on.” So glad they couldn’t take much 😂🙏🏾 this is why I now have a separate account for such transactions because mine could have ended badly.
I got the last scam. I received an sms from what was supposed to be takealot. I put my card details, and moments later i got an sms from my bank saying I have exceeded my bank limit. Blocked my card right away. I still thank God that they didn't take anything.
💀 yoh im so sorry but im also so glad you got lucky!!! Nah they definitely also caught me out and for me? It was going to end in TEARS 🤣😭. I probably wouldn’t have shopped online for a good 2 years with PTSD.
💀 they might not take out the cash instantly when you have paid. they might wait for another customer at a much later stage and pretend to be taking out change / cash back for them kanti they’re also taking their portion that they withdrew earlier with your transaction.
😂😭 listen, when I heard that they even hire offices next to trucking companies I realized this was an elite scam and I honestly don’t blame people for wanting to try it out.
👀 it happens! Also they usually target your older, recently retired people who are liquid and trying to fine “a good investment” to make retirement easier 🙉

I love how you have scaled since 2020 ❤🎉
I didn't know of scam #4🙆🏽♀️
I'll start checking. Also, petrol attendants also scam people by making them pay for petrol they didn't receive 😢
Number 5, ngibathukani telling them I never ordered anything. Number 2 I have lost so much money over that scam.
😭✋🏾 I’m scared to even reply viciously to them because apparently they circulate your number for future scams because “you’re rude”.

To be honest that was the thinking the conversation was stopped as she was about to make a deposit.
Not the beyonce voice : "You are listening to Ask Ms K" 😂❤
The checking your slip one is very true.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that time I had to record that at last minute before uploading because my original “you are listening to” has copyright issues ugh😭🤣✋🏾

The last story is insane and seems legit 😅😅 I swear to God I would have Fallin for it thanks for the heads up 😊😊
💀 when I tell you I’m SO glad I didn’t press submit. I defs would have lost a lot of money.

Mina when it comes to money I'm stingy, there's no way I'm gonna pay for a car I haven't seen with my own eyes 😅😅
😂😂😂 i hear you and maybe your stinginess will save you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Naaah coz the supermarkets should have cameras. Why would they not see the employee taking out the cash 🙆♀️
