Hi Steve I have just started watching your video on Torquay we have had a phew holidays and it is beautiful area we enjoyed having a coffee on the sea front cafe.
We stayed at Sheldon along the river Teighn and we had a fantastic week at the netheway hotel the staff were brilliant.
The isle of Wight has different coloured sands I wonder as the seas come in and out in different areas as the tides move wether the reason why the sands are red at Torquay .
Sorry I missed the "live" Stephen but have just watched back, beautiful place! I am sure you will have some great vlogs and photos to show us👍.
Thanks Sheila. It was a great trip.
Great to have you in the South West - Welcome! Fab live! I love Torquay seafront and the whole of the English Riviera. Really looking forward to being there in the next few days hopefully.
Torbay Council put a lot of effort into maintaining the gardens and palm trees. Funds are limited so I think they do well considering the limitations. It's what makes the English Riviera special 🌴
Great vlog. Thank you.
Love Torquay and Paignton....spent many family holidays camping down there at Hillhead in Brixham.
Brilliant video of Torquay Steve Was down there quite a few years ago now The English Rivera. Absolutely beautiful area of Britain. The weather looks great 👍 😊
Glad you enjoyed it Brian.
Yes some of faulty towers was filmed in Torquay I believe it was one of the hotels up the top end of Torquay where a lot of hotels are ,the spiral walk way that helps you get across the road from one side to the other you go up that road which takes you up where there are lots of hotels.
It was a very good live blog tonight of your chili out walks around sea front of Torquay a walk on the wild side
Great episode Stephen, good job.
Awww missed live stream. Was working until 9. Beautiful scenery Stephen. Have a great time take care 😊💙
No trams in Torquay sadly but what a beautiful part of the world.
I don't know if you have visited Weymouth further around the coast but that's my holiday place every year since the 80s.
I did have a flying visit to Portland & Weymouth a few years ago.
Sorry we missed your live stream, I've to Torquay twice that last time I went was with mum and stepdad back in 1996 Fawlty Towers is one of the best sitcoms ever my favourite episode would have to be The Psychirest I remember a hit on the Seafront which at night is lit up don't know if it still is though
Sorry I missed the live stream - looks nice down there - hope your hotel is nice
I stayed in my van for 10 nights!

Your in my backyard lol. Nice to see you again.
The Gleneagles Hotel was a hotel in Torquay which was the inspiration for fawlty towers. The Wooburn Grange Country club, burnt down in 1991and later demolished. Residential homes have since been built on the site.
Awesome video Stephen of Torquay
Thanks Paul.

Yes please steve I would like to see the video on the Eden project I have been and we went into the rain forest area but my husband started to feel about funny because of the heat in there so we had to go back outside.
Ok I will post it soon Betty.
I had a holiday in Torquay in 1972 with my parents and stayed at the templestowe hotel which is still there
Tor also means hill & Torquay is built on 7 hills then obviously has a quay hence the name Torquay. I used to live in Torquay when Torre Abbey gardens where you are was absolutely full of stunning flowers displays. When the gardens are lit up at night & also what's called Rock Walk (just up from where are if ur facing the sea it's up to ur left) are both lit up at night its lovely. Brixham Paighton & Torquay form what's called Torbay.
I visited Glastonbury Tor after leaving Torquay when I finished the livestream. It was sort of on my way home.
It's worth the the ferry over to Brixham it's love place to visit.
Babbington mini village is worth a visit and they might it up at night .
My wife and I are going to Torquay in July staying in the Rivera hotel
The Church SpireI believe is St. Mary Church - top end of Torquay shopping centre.
Another great video! Thanks Steve 🙏

Làst time I went to Torquay was 17 years ago on our Honeymoon.
What a wonderful livestream, and as always loads of lovely people in the chat. I can't wait for everyone to see the gorgeous work you have been doing Stephen, they are going to be blown away. You've taken my breath away so many times on this trip, exquisite work both photographic and on film 😘 xx
Thanks Moonage xx
15 minute cities are not to restrict your freedom , they are to provide all your immenities within a 15 minute walk, it helps people who can't freely get around or those that don't drive .personally for me that's a good thing .
I don't think they should block perfectly good roads.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool appreciate your point , but as a cyclist they can shut lot off to traffic for me. Got rid of car 10 years ago and public transport and my bike do me fine . By the way I'm 63 as well
Brixham has a very pricey fish restaurant, Macmaster took his family and was shocked at the cost.
Hi Stephen thank you for another great live as always what a beautiful place love the palm trees and the gardens unfortunately their illuminations are nothing compared to Blackpool lol I've never been to torquay will have to go one day have a great day xx

Avoided the electric toilet for years now...ghastly thing.
Those birds were Jackdaws not crows there are a lot of them around Torbay
