I used to use salad back in the days In the best days ever I was earning somewhere around 5usd per day and salad used to have season like fortnite the more you use it you get rewards for it BUT in the last ~7 months the best I've earned in one day was 0.7usd and averaging around 0.3 usd per day So I stopped using it because it is not worth it at all now (gtx 1060 6gb)
It’s not worth mining crypto unless you have a dedicated machine for it + you give like half your earnings to salad when you could do it yourself and keep all the earnings
you should also only mine on dedicated mining rigs, because they were built for it also salad only works if your some kid living with your parents and want a sustainable source of nitro. like me
I don't think salad gives you even 50% of what you earn. If you can just paste a code and have 2x more earnings then it has to be less than 50% because otherwise they would loose money
2x more earnings until 5$ is to keep new users hooked and encourage them to refer other users because they also gain shit from referring, it would also have been illegal for them not to say that they are taking your earnings so your info is just not true

As long as you or anyone who you do not dislike doesn't pay the electricity bill and you have a computer, you make money without doing anything at all other than installing it. Most people don't pay their own electricity bill.

The reason why I used salad 2 years ago because I was on nitro discord, had some cool communities back then and on the other side I had alot of work in high school so I didn't had the time for a job until I graduated (obviously). But if it wasn't for salad I had some of the best moments I have ever had using discord and give credit to them for that reason. At the same time I can see in the long run as Im new to crypto mining and getting back into it, I wouldn't recommend salad as your first too go too since (if your not like me) end up with a over heated laptop with a rattling GPU and burns your damn hand while taking it out too do work on it lol. I honestly thought too me self at 17 this was the right way too do it (but I was wrong).

Back in 2019, I started using salad on my recently bought computer (GTX 1060 + i7 8700)... Months passed, and I ended up making about $15 - half of which I bought game cosmetics on, and the rest is just in my account Now, fast forward another few months, I notice my graphics card starts artifacting - It never used to, and slowly gets worse each time I try to mine AND my "income" yield is much lower than it was before, from just over 50 cents per day, to about 35 cents per day. I assume this is because my graphics card is constantly throttling... Fast forward a few more months, and now I can't run games above 250 fps without overheating, artifacting then ultimately crashing. In the end, I believe using salad for just a few months (talking about 5 or 6 months) ended up slowly killing my pc to the point where I have to FPS cap games to 200 fps even though my pc is more than capable of producing more... It was a good run while it lasted - $15 better than none

PLEASE UPDATE THIS NOW This video is no longer accurate. Network mining is now integrated and fully supported in salad. This is boosting money insanely depending on your network bandwidth. In just a few hours I earned 0.25 USD without using my CPU or GPU. I even emulated mario kart while it was running! This video is outdated but a lot of the advice still stands for mining using hardware rather than network. It's still slow, but it is now much improved. Salad is only really good for kids who don't want use their parents credit cards for their precious vbucks.
I was suspicious of it when I downloaded it, instantly all my apps and games were lagging like mad even when the app was "closed", when I uninstalled it a few weeks later after forgetting about it I felt like I was playing on a brand new pc
I know you wont see this, but this is outdated ever since containers came out. They basically do AI work and rendering on your GPU and companies pay to use it. Maybe you could make a video on that.

i just installed salad but then i turned it off for later but now something on my pc feels like its crypto mining without my consent. every task that takes up the littlest of resources on my pc lags very badly.

Don't set your laptop on flat surfaces for one that's always bad for a computer because it can't breathe in second of all don't push your PC too hard maybe every few days give it a break and sometimes salad will give you like five bucks a day is in the next day you're only making a few pennies it's random with the salad earnings are it fluctuates because of crypto prices

This video is no longer accurate. Network mining is now integrated and fully supported in salad. This is boosting money insanely depending on your network bandwidth. In just a few hours I earned 0.25 USD without using my CPU or GPU. I even emulated mario kart while it was running! This video is outdated but a lot of the advice still stands for mining using hardware rather than network. It's still slow, but it is now much improved. Salad is only really good for kids who don't want use their parents credit cards for their precious vbucks.

Don't set your laptop on flat surfaces for one that's always bad for a computer because it can't breathe in second of all don't push your PC too hard maybe every few days give it a break and sometimes salad will give you like five bucks a day is in the next day you're only making a few pennies it's random with the salad earnings are it fluctuates because of crypto prices

3:26 idk where you got your numbers from but i when i use salad i get around 3 usd a day (which is still not a lot). I use an amd 5800 xt graphics card.
