Zapopan Centro 4K Walking Tour
At Centro Zapopan it will allow you to create the most extraordinary and unforgettable life experiences, in the same place.
Enjoy the streets and walkways of Zapopan, the other historical side, part of the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara. Upon arrival, you will have as a reference the Arcos de Zapopan, a historical monument of gray quarry in memory of the founders of the city. Built in 1982 Designed by architect Guillermo González Ibarra and his wife, the sculptor María del Carmen Rábago.
Colonial style and more than 20 meters high, in this old entrance you can see different sculptures, adorned with vases, an eagle, below Diana the huntress and on the sides Teopilzintli the corn child and the goddess Centeotl.
The historic center of Zapopan
Also known as the esplanade of the Basilica of Zapopan, this place is a meeting point for many, whether to go for snow, or for a short walk. Decorated with pink stone, a kiosk, planters and benches to sit and watch people pass by.
The Basilica is a must-see when visiting the heart of the Historic Center of Zapopan. This sanctuary, built in 1690, is famous for being a key point for many people who come from far away to visit the Virgin of Zapopan.
Also known for being the meeting point for thousands of people every October 12, the date on which the return of the Virgin to the Basilica is celebrated, the largest pilgrimage in the region, called “La Romería”.
If you enter, come closer to see the image of the Virgin, a work of art from the 16th century. Did you know that it is built with corn cane and wood by the indigenous people of Michoacan? On your way out, be sure to visit the Huichol Museum, where you can admire works of indigenous art.

Wow,otra vez le diste al clavo brother,minuto 25:00 ,carniceria el obrador,alli trabaje un tiempo,y las canchas de basket en la unidad republica fueron testigo de muchas horas jugando despues del jale y asta el anochecer,los fines de semana cotorrear en la plaza,habia un lugar que se llamaba la finca en el andador,que bonitos tiempos con amigos y amigas de toda el area,nomas de acordarme me dan ganas de regresar jajajaja,gracias infinitas por este tour,estubo de lujo,saludos cordiales desde el norte de California,arriba Zapopan,arriba Guanatos!!!!!
