@@andorszen It’s not designed as a sports car. Get a Ferrari instead, if you want to go faster. But then again, more and more 20mph roads are appearing, so this Suzuki is perfect.
@andorszen It's about practicality. For city driving, it's a perfect reliable balance between value for money and conomical mobility. If I want my wife to have speed, she can simply hop in my Genesis GV70. Simple.
I have an earlier version with CVt transmission and have owned previously over 25 years, 3- Grand Vitara's, SX4 and a ,Swift, (All Autos) great reliability and excellent value for money. However I have driven the new version which I find very good but the dashboard is a bit "fussey" for me but a great car.
No folding mirrors tho, whys that when they are standing out on stalks? You only have about an inch on either side when parking it in a standard size garage!
@@trackssuzukiexeter I thought they would have.. obviously the man that lives next to me hasn’t discovered he’s got power mirrors then because he really struggles to get it in his garage. I got lucky. Walked into the dealership, someone changed their mind from auto to manual and the auto was still delivered anyway. It sat there for a few days as it hadn't become part of their stock yet. I'm now picking it up in 6 days 😊
Don't see the point of the 1.5 full hybrid....for the amount of co2 and fuel it saves it's neither here nor there...a load more of expense and probably pollution has gone into producing this engine and it's no better. In Fact if you drive both the full hybrid model is poor. It's night and day different....no power, no get up and go, then the AGS gearbox. (A manual with an electric motor to change gear for you). It's slow to respond, gets confused which gear it should be in, it's bad....I'll stick to my 1.4 booster jet....brill engine. Suzuki A 1.2 3cylinder turbo with the full hybrid system would have been better.
I've been puzzling on this for a while too. You make a good comment. I'm no acceleration freak but the full hybrid takes like 50% longer to 60 mph and that can lead to problems on slip roads etc. I didn't know about the gearbox issue. All reviews are vague on the 1.5L or don't cover it at all. I forget if it has any EV range but it's not worth it. I like the vehicle. A real head scratcher.
EU soon to be banned oil guzzling cars in favour of inconvenient electric guzzling cars , I own a Suzuki but see no point in owning a vehicle that is neither one or the other, plus with the towns and cities being turned into 15 minute prisons/ghettos a new pair of shoes would seem a better option.
My wife LOVES this SUV (more than me???). Her life now revolves around the word H Y B R I D .Please folks, help....I am confused and need HONEST feedback. Money is not an issue but do I buy her the Booster jet Mild Hybrid or the Dual jet Full Hybrid? I am confused by the many YT review which do not specifically compare the two engines together in one video. She averages around 8/10Km per year, so not a lot. We live in the city and drive long distance only from time to time (max 350km) monthly. The car lives in a very busy traffic zone. I am more inclined towards the full Hyrid whilst wifey wants the mild hybrid. I am aware that the mild Hybrid has more power but I need better fuel consumption over power (yet our current wifey car is a 1600cc fuel injected with a lot of oomph). Any valid, valuable and informative input will be highly appreciated.
Hi, thanks for getting in touch! As you live in the city with heavy traffic, I’d recommend the full hybrid as you’d benefit from the EV driving mode and achieve better efficiency overall. We’ve stock available if we can be of any further assistance. ^Harry
@@trackssuzukiexeter Hello there, Harry, and thank you so much for getting back to me. So basically the Dual Jet. Wifey wants the automatic but I have, in this case, advised the manual, due to the engines power. The auto may be a bit laggy. Owned 2 model Swifts and tomorrow we are going to order one of these 😎
I have the 1.4 boosterjet engined version of this car, very impressed with it. Comfortable, economical and good kit!
Getting the full hybrid within two months ordered three days ago can’t wait 😅
Very slow car

Is it safe? No ncaps, except for Asian one, or side impact test...? I am little bit scared to get one in terms of safety, but logic says go for it

Both S-Cross Motion and Ultra models have electric folding mirrors.
