Last week I was only vaguely aware of Slade - they were from a different time & continent- but I went on a wormhole binge, bought some albums, and I’ll be damned if I didn’t sort of fall in love. Not only talented and unique, but they seem like good people. I liked their film too, Slade in Flames: a rare, unpretentious rock movie.

Slade; iconic champions of rock, through ups and downs, no matter what they had thrown at them, they persevered . They are legends and more than worthy of the accolades and accomplishments they achieved throughout the years and in my opinion, deserve a whole lot more.rock and roll hall of fame worthy
