I think this is a great appreciation for a live album that I have cherished for years. It was my first live album I bought and as a teenager I was super proud of it! Now I am 61 and I still listen to it regularly. Best live LP for me and of course I have this album on vinyl and CD. thanks for this beautiful documentary in which Slade is so beautifully appreciated!
1981 castle donnington monsters of rock.....best live band of the day....they really know how to enjoy themselves and get a crowd going....absolutely brilliant!!. I'm am old git and still talk about Slade that day 😎
I never stopped listening to Slade Alive during the last 50 years. Next to MC5 these lads played the purest form of energetic Hard Rock of that era. Brilliant and timeless!
Love Slade still seen in early 70$ great group these kids now have no idea what they missed in the 60$and70$ . About fifteen dollars to see three bands awesome.!
I'm a Slade (Noddy Don Jim Dave) fan since the early seventies. Most of their songs are covered and these are so great that they even sound good if played by b-artists or amateurs.
Thanks for the upload, never seen this before. I was brought up on Slade, first went to see them in 1973 and the last time was either 81 or 82 at the Apollo in Manchester
The best thing about Slade was their instruments, that dark cherry SG with the bridge cover, nice guitar.Am sorry but am just seeing a gang of Jimmy Savilles with guitars.
My first ever album I got was Slayed. Love Slade. They were rock solid.
True Legends! Slade Made Rock n Roll, Super Cool and Super Fun! After 50 Years, they still make you stomp your boots! ^_^

The first album that I ever bought. Still good.
Best live Album I ever heard...and I've heard a few!
Great documentary about a sadly underrated album and live band. One of my biggest regrets is never seeing them live.

The album as a whole works. Today! Right now! Blasting it through my headphones as a kid was exhausting. What? A 30 minute album? Great stuff.

This is brilliant and great to see the real music journalists and my old mate Tony Dolan! Great guys

Glad you are still around Crusher, you are right, I didn't realise they rocked so hard!
Best concert I ever went to. They had the crowd in the palm of their hands with out a doubt. Of course Cheap Trick got their name from them.
Very good Slade , very good...
Awesome. Thanks for uploading this. It really is a classic album in my opinion.
The start shows '73 Randwick Racecourse in Sydney Australia. They nailed it here and at the indoor shows at Hordern Pavillion '74.
Born to be wild on this got me to Blue Oyster Cult. Slade still remains one of my favourite bands.
Top draw this band - absolute legends 👍
Slaaaade!!!!!!!!!
Noddy - GREAT VOICE!!!!!!!!
If you're a millennial ....enjoy this ....'cos you missed it!!!
All my childhood!

Slade ,top of the pops and Slade live were two different bands. Still think their best album was Play it Loud.
Charles Charlesworth sounds like Alan Partridge
