TRAPS twin reduced by Radiofrequency ablation

Twin reversed arterial perfusion sequence (TRAPS) is associated with high mortality of the pumping twin (33% before 16 gestational weeks). To prevent this, early intervention with radiofrequency ablation of the umbilical vessels of the acardiac twin should be considered. This video demonstrates how to perform the procedure safely.
